Comcast Service Center

Was lagging on dropping off my old Comcast box because I was scared it would me a long line or a big hassle. Was greater at the door by a rep that grabbed the door for me and walked me over to the line which only had one person in it. I was helped promptly by a friendly employee that not only helped me but went out of their way to shred anything that had my contact info on it before getting rid of my boxes. Was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. Great business and employees.

One star because its always long line no matter what time you go here, like on transcation will take 15 to 30 minutes, im right now 12^th on the line. 4 customer representative but one there’s no customer. If i have other option i will never ever visit this place again. The only plus is that its 3 mins away from my house.

My Comcast internet was having issues for the last couple of weeks. The speed was running slow and did everything I could to make it work. I knew I supposed to have fast internet speed. Nothing was working so I decided to call Comcast. The tech support told me the reason was the modem.
Once Comcast upgraded to the new devices, they gave me a low model modem that is only for basic speed connection. The advised me to go to the store and exchange for a higher and better modem that is compatible for my speed.
When arriving at the store, the employee greeted me right away. He was very helpful and provided me with new HDMI and other cables. The service made it very easy for me.
Once I got home, everything was so easy to installed. Thanks to Comcast for assisting me when I really needed help!

Comcast as a whole, sucks! We are paying $ 96 for the internet service, but has to be bundled with basic TV that we do not watch. 1. When we started the service was $ 45 per month with promotion. Out of promotion, one year later, paying $ 65. Then gradually ran up … 2. Slow internet at night. Some nights, response time is up to 2 minutes for any site that we are trying to connect to. 3. I called and complained. Tech came out did inspection. No change to internet speed. Basically, too many people sharing the same bandwidth! 4. When we installed another service, and to cancel the service, we were offered lower price.

Horrible customer service. routed to the Philippines and no one seemed to have a clue. recorded the Warriors game on TNT, came up home while it was in progress, thinking I could watch if from the beginning. No chance. was unable to watch it from the beginning so I missed the whole first half. Is this a TNT cluster? Waited an hour on the phone to talk to a supervisor… they never came on. We switched from Direct TV thinking Comcast would be better. NOT

I came in early this morning to initially cancel my internet service due to the recent rate hike. I arrived well before the 0900 opening to beat the crowd as I am well aware that long lines often forms during peak hours. I was the first one in line and was pleasantly greeted by Maddie, the lone Comcast rep. Sorry if I spelled the name incorrectly! I told her that I wanted to cancel my service, but she counter-​offered with a significantly discounted monthly price which I ecstatically accepted! She just made my day!!! The service that Maddie provided was exceptional, efficient, friendly and professional! I highly recommend coming in early for fast and efficient service!

Comcast is a huge joke! I barely found out today that they raised my rate from $ 45 to $ 70 in December! They never gave me no notice or anything and all of a sudden I get a call stating that I owe them money! I just called and canceled my service these guys are jerks! They are not worth the headache.

I would give no stars if I could. Buyer beware!!! The contracts they will get you in last longer than some marriages!!! And they will probably take you for more money! They told me today that even though they do not offer service where I am moving to it was not their decision that I move and so I will have to pay a $ 500 early cancellation fee.

So I went in not expecting much based off of all these negative reviews. I gave myself an hour and a half window to get this errand ran and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. I arrived a little before 10 a.m.(Tuesday morning) and was out by 10:05. Equipment returned and my final bill paid. Brandon was the young man who helped me and he was professional and efficient.

Incredibly long lines. They don’t separate returns from sales, so 7 people waiting to return cable boxes will wait for an hour while someone explains how X1 works to a prospective customer. They also try to upsell EVERYONE, so even returns take forever. It’s so stupid. Also inexplicable how slow considering there actually are a number of people working here. At least they have good wifi and a TV.

I think the experiences definitely is different for different people.
The waiting line is long, and this location really need more staff.
If you are planning to come here, try to avoid the traffic hours and get here before 3pm.
A lot of people have bad experience however I had the best services received EVER!
It was just my luck that I got the service rep named «R.T. «
She was kind, fast, informative, and very helpful to get my services set up.
I do feel bad for the other guys who had a bad experience here … next time be sure to get RT. !!! SHE IS REALLY AWESOME !!!
PS. management, if you are reading this, please put her ad a management /​trainer for this location so we all can have better, faster services.
I will be referring my friends and family to come here but first to call in to see when she will be working so we can get the best services.

There stupid to take the cmt channel and putting it in a sports package the channel has nothing to do with sports it has music and other shows but no sports Comcast if your reading this I think your people who made this decision are morons

I am giving it one star since I can’t give zero. Worst customer service ever, they are always understaffed — with lines that are at least 25 people long. The people working there aren’t even aware of most of the offers. There are no regular employees along with trainees making the experience horrible.
A simple thing such as an equipment return can take you a good 45 minutes on a bad day.

I wasn’t sure which service center my call went to so I’m writing a review here. Today I’m experiencing another outage, this one over 3hrs and counting. Good thing I use my internet for work, I feel so much less like maiming someone right now.
Funny thing happened today though after calling them to complain. I requested to speak to some kind of mgmt talking head to complain about the shitty service they provide and was denied that privilege. So when the survey system called me back, I put all 0’s (I’m so irate at the moment I would have given them –10’s if I could have). Well, the tech called me back and thanked me for making him lose his job!!! I thought that was pretty bad and uncalled for. You work for a company that provides shitty service and refuse to let me escalate, well too bad for you. I hope you really DID lose your job, although highly unlikely.
I think the entire Bay Area internet services suck as a whole. I sure miss my rock-​solid VzW FIOS I had back in TX. You don’t appreciate what you have until it’s gone. And because of weird competition laws, VzW cannot provide service in my area. That totally sucks balls I tell you.
Well enough ranting for today. Don’t want to use all my LTE data that I have to use to write this since my INTERNET IS DOWN!!!

After three phone calls, finally managed to cancel service. Came into the store to return equipment, expecting cold treatment, but was pleasantly surprised by the all-​around nice attitude from staff. In and out in under 5 minutes!
Had to do a double take — was I really at Comcast? What about all those horror stories I hear online? Well, maybe they are training the customer service reps to be nicer. Glad to see it.

Hmmm. Maybe there’s a correlation between the insane wait times to turn in your comcast gear/​shut off your service and the fact that of the thirty individuals standing in line with me currently, 95% of them are holding bags of gear to turn back in.
Oh, irony.

Have give them cudos fo quality fast internet.
Just tested it at 7:00a. It ran an impressive 67 down load and 6.7 up load speed.
To put it in prespective the Milpitas free wify is 1 down load and ½ upload speed. But it is FREE to use.

The lady at the desk is rude, plain and simple. These people need to be retrained with a nicer personality. I understand you hate your job but don’t get snarky with me

Unfortuneatly for my father, he had to come back three times and he will be returning again for a TV box. We would not mind if the store is nearby us, but for a forty five minute drive, we would want the items given to be correct the first time around. The staff is not accommodating and not true to their word. We asked questions about the box and they said yes it includes the features that we have asked if it had included. When we get back to our house, it is the complete opposite of what they had told us it had been. Also, the modem kept breaking down for no reason and makes our wifi extremely slow, ten minutes per page to load up, to be specific. Although we pay the top price in which Comcast says we do, we certainly do not deserve this.
