A great quick place to eat. I recommend the Bourbon Chicken! It is sweet and cooked just right! The servings are more than I was expecting! Fast service. They even give you a free taste test of their meat. Don’t fall into the egg roll trap! They’ll offer it just say no! Overall I had a great lunch here.

Hands down– THEBEST spot to eat @ Great MaLL’s food court. There is a reason why it’s the Longest standing food option that the maLL has to offer. I’ve been eating at Cajun GriLL for years– we go waaaay back!!! LMAO. This was my go-to spot for Lunch back in the days when I used to work in the maLL and it stiLL is whenever I’m in the area. Great food, fast service, and cheap prices! I’m aLL about that Life! My pLate has aLways and forever wiLL be: riceNbeans, Cajun potatoes, and a heaping of bourbon chicken(with extra sauce dizzLed). Food stiLL tastes just as good as I remember it… ALthough the portions have gotten super skimp!

If you want the runs this is your place. The food was ok at best. I had to deal with a stomach ache the rest of the day. The best part of this place was the cold water bottles they had

I was starved when I got here, so I probably liked it a bit more than its actual worth. The food isn’t great, but it isn’t expensive either. I think it costs only 8 $ for the meal. A decent one time eat.

Super streotypic American mall food. Lemon chickin was okay. Noodles were horrible, literally no taste. They should work on improving their food.

This place is ok. I had a late lunch there on a Monday and it wasn’t a big deal. The dish I had was the pepper chicken, it was delicious. The chicken didn’t taste like dry meat with sause on it but tender with flavor, spicy throughout. Had it with the bean and rice mix, had good flavor and the plantains were sweet. The service is a a little pushy but it’s expected. The dishes do somewhat cater to Asian dishes, assume because of some their customers are looking for, still it’s pretty tasty. I wish they would stick to more real cajun style. This is a spicy delicious place, stay away if you can’t handle the heat, which is about medium to hot here. They do warn you. I love spicy hot foods, no problem here. I will come back often.

This place really isn’t all that bad! The service isn’t perfect, but the food is tasty! I always choose this place when I go to the Great Mall. I usually order the bourbon chicken meal with Cajun potatoes and red bean rice. They offer to pour the bourbon sauce on the rice… ACCEPTTHATOFFER! The sauce is delicious: a perfect mixture of sweet and salty, and complements the chicken and rice well. The potatoes are moist and spicy, which I definitely prefer over dry, bland potato wedges. If you’re sensitive to spicy foods, ask for a water cup when you go to pay! I have yet to experience any bad service, like messing up my order or anything. Nicely priced and always fast service, this place is a safe bet if you’re craving some Cajun/Chinese/American food.

These peeps couldn’t wish themselves out of a job fast enough. Do them the favor and boycott at all costs. We used to like this place. it has gone downhill. my partner got some bourbon chicken with cajun potatoes and noodles tonight. the potatoes were so fiery hot neither one of us could take more than one bite. we have had them before and don’t remember them being so inedible. my mouth is still burning 2 hours later. some of the hot got into the noodles and chicken too. everything ruined. We paid not to have dinner? Do not trust Asian peeps to make Cajun food! some of the burnt ends of the chicken pieces were beyond burnt. Dry, inedible and only sweet sauce, barely any bourbon flavor any more. Someone must have got fired today and decided to ruin all the dishes with too much blackening spices. Just so inedible… Avoid, avoid, AVOID. Let’s put them out of business because they seem to want it!

I am never he type of person that writes reviews on places but my experience with Cajun Grill was just absolutely horrible and unacceptable! I love their food and I have even been there in the past but the lady working there the one that has short hair with pink highlights is soooo mean! When I asked her to give me a sample of the chicken bc I had not tried it she gave it to me so rudely and then started making facial expression about me to her colleague! This is so rude and unprofessional. because of them I wi never go there again! Eat ur samples!

Around 3pm we headed to the food court to get food. After looking at the options, we opted for this place after the sample bourbon chicken tasted pretty good. My girlfriend didn’t like the food so I ended up eating most of hers as well. What a mistake! A couple of hours later I got really bad stomach cramp, and for the next 24 houts I sufered with some pretty bad food poisoning. Lesson learned: don’t get mall food at 3pm when it’s quiet and probably bee sat there for hours!

Teriyaki grilled chicken on white rice. I traveled quite a bit, parked out yonder to come to eat the chicken over white rice. A good sized portion, asked for extra sauce as well to add that gravy feel to my dish. Delicious, always cooked thoroughly and served hot. Everytime I eat here, people ask where I received my food from. Cajun spices, delicious flavors, fast service, friendly little ladies, I only come here for the chicken and rice. The rest, is up to you to try. The taste is always the same, ginger/soy sauce/brown sugar and some kind of spicy marinate on the chicken makes this the place to go. Prices are fair, expect 8.00 for a basic dish with vegetables per person without a drink. Not costly, not cheap. Yes, Panda you can get a MEAL with 2 sides for the same cost, but there is nothing like Authentic cuisine that you find in life. This is one of those finds in life that exclude any chain food place in existence in my opinion. Ask for white rice, taste the difference here.

Food is good .But the ladies here. OMG. rude… They are always in some rush even if there is no line. I tried 2 samplers in less than a minute and when I asked for cajun chicken to taste, they said it taste like lemon chicken just little spicy. I said but I never tasted lemon chicken. They make faces to let u taste sample. Guys I had to get 4 to go lunches. Experienced this twice. I am not sampling all you have in the tray. lol…

I must say this is one of my go to fast food places whenever I am at Great Mall. I just love the taste of their bourbon chicken. I need to learn it and make it myself. Anyway, I came 5, minutes before it closed and I got some pretty good portion. Although the quality was definitely not there anymore since it was close to closing. I just wished they compensated it through a closing price. Overall I love Cajun food.

It was 2pm and I haven’t had anything to eat so I was starving and this place caught my eye. I don’t like giving bad reviews but this place was a complete disappointment. I had noodles, lemon chicken, and veggies(very small portions). EVERYTHING was super greasy including the veggies… I had to keep bolting my lips because of the excess oil. The chicken was very chewy and it had a lot of fat. Even though I was super hungry I ended up throwing it away and I NEVER do that. I should have checked the reviews… darn! Lol

So if you don’t know, now you do! Cajun Grill is actually one of the longest standing businesses in the food court! It’s been I don’t know what qualifies it as «Cajun» because all the offerings are basically chinese food haha but if you’re familiar with FLAMEBROILER(in Southern CA) this totally reminds me of it. My go to meal is just a serving of bourbon and/or blackened chicken with white rice and steamed vegetables. I do a double portion of protein sometimes, but I find that the single serving for $ 6 is a great deal. Perfect sized, and I’m a big guy so that’s saying a lot! It’s not the cleanest choice by far, by one of the healthier ones in the food court(if you’re cutting or bulking). Makes for a great postworkout meal!

I was debating between China max and Cajun grill. I didn’t know what is wrong with me and I went for Cajun grill. I ordered the bourbon chicken and lemon chicken. Honestly, the lemon chicken tasted so hard ! Like literally so hard and since they have been fried, they got hard edges that pokes the inside of your mouth, painful to swallow. I don’t know what it is with their bourbon chicken, the sample they gave me tasted like teriyaki chicken. The actually thing I got was just salty and a little spicy. This place is a BIGNO !!!

What’s Cajun about this? NOTHING! It’s disgusting Chinese food… Their number 2 bourbon chicken is a joke and is absolutely digusting! It reeked of generic terriyaki sauce and the texture was like eating plastic. The red bean rice was horrid. I couldn’t bear to eat it… I threw almost all of it away and I NEVER do that with take-out food… I love how people next to me give me a stare of acknowledgement, and was like«yeah…I know… that’s pretty nasty…»

The bourbon chicken is pretty tasty, and cheap. $ 5.99 for the chicken with a side of rice, fried rice, or chow mein. Not too bad for a quick meal and if you’re craving something else besides McDonalds: P

Straight to the point, get the Bourbon Chicken Burger, Lemon Chicken with noodles, and the cajun potatoe round chip like things(I forgot what its called) The bourbon chicken burger is nicely cooked with the traditional fixin’s(tomatoes, lettuce, onions) My favorite burger to eat if I’m starving at the mall and don’t want to settle for McD’s. They used to have these really good cajun fries that I’d get as a combo but sadly they dont make them anymore… The Lemon chicken fills me up and satisfies my belly :) Price is decent. Ranging about $ 4.95−8.95.
