History

Established in 2015.

We created this business to give my son, who is a young man with autism, something meaningful and productive to do in his adult life. He is our only employee and does a great job making and packaging toffee and creating his unique works of art. In addition to providing excellent, big quality products, we hope to grow to be able to provide opportunities for other people with disabilities to work and learn and earn

Big Al makes the most delicious toffee! Not too sweet with just a touch of dark chocolate and almonds. This is bar far the best toffee I’ve ever had (and I’m a bit of a candy snob). You can order from four different sizes priced $ 1-​$ 20. Be sure to order a little extra because you’ll be eating some of it yourself – you just can’t help it. Oh, and the customer service is great, too!

I didn’t know I loved toffee until I tried ‘Big Al’s Best’ toffee. I ordered most of the toffee to share with family and coworkers, but I ended up consuming half of what I ordered. Delicious toffee with wholesome ingredients — no additives and preservatives. Good thing it’s a local business and they deliver to my home in SF. I will definitely be ordering another batch soon!

So, I’m not a big dark chocolate fan. But when a neighbor posted some information about this toffee, I thought, «well it’s for a GREAT cause». So I bought two boxes. That was last night. This is today… today is a sad day as there is no more toffee left! Holy moly! I’m actually in «the candy business» and have become a fan of Estroms from Colorado. Never again!!! Big Al’s are amaaaaazing little nuggets of love! Try it — you will not be disappointed!

This is the most delicious toffee ever. I purchased it in plastic eggs as Easter favors and my guests all marveled at how wonderful it was. They bypassed the chocolate eggs and all the other candy on the table. Big Al’s could not be beat!
