What a Dump! I have driven past this restaurant every day going to & from work back when Ike was alive.(RIPIKE) I finally got the chance to go & eat there one night recently(june 2011) & when I get there the doors are locked & I’m rudely told they’re closed.(at 7:30pm when the sign clearly states 9pm) I called the location in Ocean City the next day & asked to speak to the owner, I received no apology & was told they would look in to this. I have know been told They Closed the location in Millville on rt49, which I can verify being I called & got a message stating the number has been Disconnected. I hope They sell the property & never try to reopen this Restaurant ever again because They have Ruined Ike’s Hard Work & Famous Name!

OK, so this place is not bad, cant say that its exactly«World Famous» either. I went here with high expectations since they had claimed«World Famous Crab Cakes». Crab is my favorite thing to eat on this earth, and Ive had my share of crab cakes from just about every where. This one is OK, I will say that there isn’t much bread or filler. They are 4oz each so their average size. The tasted pretty bland, I didn’t taste much flavor other than the crab. No salt, pepper, old bay, paprika, no anything, or I couldn’t taste it if it did. My sis had the Stomi seafood pasta with shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. She reported that all though the seafood was tasty the pasta and sauce wasn’t all that great. I thought the sauce was OK but she is more of a pasta eater than I. They have a salad bar you can add for $ 3.75 here but its WEAK. My meal came with a house salad, its funny because the waitress made it right from the salad bar. The staff were nice, not really knowledgeable of the menu, but very nice. So anyway, even though I didn’t thoroughly enjoy my crab cakes, I will be back to try other things on the menu that looked good like the grouper, spicy tuna, and crab imperial so stay tuned… Crab Cakes — $ 17.95 Stormi Pasta — $ 19.95

Sorry, I have to give this place 4 stars! It was simply an unexpected pleasure. I was in the mood for Great Seafood and got it! Atmosphere is Cafeteria like and plain, but I went there for the GREATSEAFOOD and I was NOT disappointed! All of the seafood was fresh and cooked PERFECTLY! The Calamari was not rubbery and the portion was large for the price! Clams & Linguine looked like a picture with savory broth that was buttery and not heavy on the garlic! The Combo I had was especially good with their style of potato chip style fries and their Famous Crab Cake. An unusual Surprise was the Server brought out Several Home made Sauces that were GREAT! I each of them on everything! I can’t wait to go back! Prices were reasonable and service was fast! Try one of their home made soups! This is a Dry Township so BYOB or Wine!

Grouper sandwich was great. salad bar was clean & well stocked. Service was quick and efficent. I def like this place. Only reason I gave ike’s 4 stars is because the sauces were watered down & not that tasty.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!! After being closed for almost 2 years following the passing of Ike, this location has reopened. My joy cannot be abated. I stopped in today to pick up some take out and was pleased to see that nothing had changed inside. Of course, I got a bit teary eyed looking at all the photos of happy Ike in his heydey… I toasted him when I sat down to enjoy my lil’ pirate meal. The spiral fries and the crab cakes are really DELISH! Love the crabby horsey sauce. One improvement to the lil’ pirate meal is the addition of a VERYDELICIOUS and creamy coleslaw. Probably the best coleslaw I’ve ever eaten, actually. ALMOST licked the container. For 8.95, the lil pirate crab cake meal comes with a 3 ounce crab cake on a soft roll with the sauce of your choice, with spiral cut spicy potatoes and a generous portion of coleslaw served in a beach bucket. Makes me feel like a kid again is the right size portion for someone my size. Nummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I perused the menu while I waited. There’s been a few additions, all of the seafood variety. Still not much for those who don’t like seafood except fried chicken, chicken fingers or the decent salad bar. There are 5 different kid’s meal choices, so kids should have no problem finding something they like. Dessert offering are also very limited, but the few things they have are very tasty. Looking forward to going back soon for a sit-down meal. We’ve really missed Ike’s during the time it’s been closed. So here’s to you Ike… your good name has been preserved, your crab cakes are still great and we miss you! During the summer, open daily from 11am to 9pm. BYOB.
