J’s Sweet Shoppe is adorable and the owner Renee is just as sweet as her candy. I highly recommend stopping in. Renee sells penny candy and artisan chocolates.

A small chocolate and candy shop in a small town. Renee was incredibly friendly and approachable. The shop is currently open 11 – 4 week days during the cooler months. She doesn’t open during the summer because the AC costs outweigh the income she makes from selling sweets. Her prices are affordable and she has a small but varied selection. I enjoyed the grand orange chocolate truffles especially.
