History

Established in 2001.

West Branch Aviation has been serving the Katahdin Region for many years with personal scenic flights over our beautiful area. We are proud of what our region has to offer and want to share it with as many «locals» or «people from away» as possible. We fly year-​round with two airplanes ready to accommodate your desires, whether that’s flying over Mt. Katahdin, the terminus of the Appalachian Trail, The West Branch of the Penobscot River where many whitewater companies raft through Class V rapids, or checking out the bear, deer or even moose lunching in one of many ponds or streams. We also offer survey flights, allowing landowners an aerial view of their parcel of land in our beautiful state of Maine.

Tony has been a pilot since 1979, flying tricycle gear and tail-​dragger aircraft whether on floats, tundra tires or skis for as many years. He and his wife Ramona have owned West Branch Aviation at the Millinocket Municipal Airport since 2001.
