Established in 2014.

Originally the Brass Rail opening in 1983 until it became Donny Joe’s in 2005. In November of 2014 it became Cheers. Same great place and people with constant upgrades along the way.

So smoke filled it stings your eyes. Granted, there is a warning this is a smoking bar so I’ve no real right to complain there; just a head’s up. Alas, it took 10 minutes to get a beer with a total of 10 patrons in the bar. Two people who entered after I did were served first by the only bartender there. This is a very «regulars» focused bar, and they take precedence. Newcomer beware.
Edit: Regarding the reply. I was not on my phone until I left. I had to go to a table, the bar stools were taken. It isn’t unreasonable to expect being served at a bar table in a bar.

Fun place to hang out when you don’t feel like going into the big city. I liked it better before some of the recent changes. Some games have been moved around and it’s pretty crammed into such a small area. And I wish there were more pool tables. But it is small so there is only so much they can do. Sometimes on busy nights the staff has made us feel less than welcome. I’ve noticed that when I come with my friends who are regulars that I am treated a lot better than when I come alone. The karaōke is definitely the best in town though!

It gets four stars compared to the other options here in Millington. Place is kind of like the name, lot of locals, good karaōke. Have some games too. But if your looking to dress up and go out with a young crowed then go to downtown, if you want a cold beer with nice people that’s close its a good pick.
