Arthur Latham Park

There is nothing like playing on a brand new disc golf course!
This is a great little park with lots of playground equipment for kids. The baseball diamonds are run down, but that doesn’t concern me since I don’t go there for that.
I was playing disc golf in Cass City, MI recently and someone mentioned that they were putting in a new course at Arthur Latham Park in Millington, MI. I was thinking this is too good to be true. Eventually, I did go to the park to see if what he was saying was true. IT’S TRUE!
I’ve spoken to a couple of the creators and they are planning to put a 18 basket course and a 9 basket course on the park. So far they have 9 baskets. The are all wooded and very scenic. A couple of the baskets reside near a shallow creek. No worries if you throw in the water. I’d highly doubt you’ll risk a disc. All of the baskets are bright orange which makes them a lot easier to spot.
There is no signage yet on the course, but give it time. It’s brand new!
One word of caution: If your wife is 7 months pregnant, she might be a little sore after walking this course. She’s a trooper!
My whole family enjoys this park. I will definitely be playing this course again!
