Cloudz Hookah Lounge

I had too check this place out because my guinea pigs name was cloud, r.i.p Cloud.
WEll.plus the music sounded great from el camino.
They have a great selection of drinks and hookah here.
It’s a very chill relaxing place, tons of couches to sit on.
I really like the vibe here, chill and peacefull.

Extremely good hookah, but no food or alcohol

I’ve been smoking hookah since high school so I’ve tasted my share of bad shisha and poorly pack bowls.
None of that amateur sh*t at this lounge though. Ever since real shisha was banned in the city, I’ve been looking for the closest place to get my fix when I don’t feel like lighting my hookah at home. This place is now my go-​to spot!
The shisha here is pretty solid, most of they’re mixes are on point and they can advise you if you can’t decide. You can get a regular egyptian hookah for $ 20 or you can upgrade to an all-​glass hookah which I recommend if you’re with experienced hookah smokers or trying to impress your date.
Coal service is not the fastest but if you flag them down they hook you up.
The vibe is very chill and low-​key, the lounge is clean and has cool lighting + TVs on the walls the music is almost always EDM and the play festivals on the monitors which is cool, I like to watch the people in the videos and play «guess who’s rolling» with my friends.

I’m new to hookah and I have to say the people here are so friendly and helpful, they’re extremely approachable. The environment is welcoming and I’ve met so many nice people (employees as well as other customers). Seriously some of the best customer service I have seen ANYWHERE, they definitely deserved recognition for it! I’ll definitely be coming back

I accidentally stumbled upon this place while thinking I was going to Paradise hookah lounge.
Cloudz did not disappoint! Their hookah rates are less expensive than paradises and their staff is super friendly. Andrew, in particular, did an excellent job telling me about their hookah offerings and their business details. He is really nice.
Customer service ranks high with me. I personally go out of my way to attend nice hookah lounges regardless of their distance from San Mateo.
The décor here at Cloudz is clean, modern and club like. There are brand new leather upholstered seating through out. And they have flat screen tvs on their walls so you can catch a game. They also have a clean bathroom, which is a plus in my mind.
The smoking experience:
Their hookah tobacco is legit. Their hookah pipes are new and clean looking. That matters. And I personally like their smoking hose and prompt service for coal switch-​outs.
Overall, Cloudz has a lot of potential. They are two years young with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. I love what these guys are doing. They also have a San Jose location under the same name, Cloudz.

Came here on a Saturday night. The DJ is killin it! Hookah and the people are hella sweet. It’s so good that Im Unilocaling as I’m hookaing!

Cool and laid back place, not loud, ventilated pretty well. They also have these horizontal hookahs which are pretty cool! Had a good time.

I’ve been coming to cloudz for more than a year now and I’ve got to say that they are the best when it comes to hookahs in the bay.
Service is great and the hookahs are tasty. The lounge is chill.

My favorite hookah spot hands down! I come here at least once a week with friends and always have an amazing time. The hookah is great, Shadi (the owner) is my future husband, and the music is always on point. This place is the only place you should be going to if you’re trying to have a good time and enjoy great hookah :)

I’ve been coming to Cloudz since their old outdoor location! I’ve been a follower since then. This is a spot where I constantly drop in at least a few times a month. The hookah here is always smooth. It is a great late night spot on the peninsula to catch up with friends. This place honestly has one of the best customer service offerings as far as hookah lounges go. Shadi goes above and beyond! Hands down a honest and genuine business owner. As a plus, they sell top notch imported candy (kinder, yum) The ambiance is great too, if you want to catch the final quarter of the warriors game, you can do so here. As a regular here, might I suggest the Shocker or the Spinner. Add a large black tea to the mix, and you’re good for the rest of the evening.

this place is chill the workers are are on point on the service. I have been smoking hookah for a while and this place always seems to get it!!! no other hookah place I go to compares. I feel at home when I come to cloudz and smoke. they have so many different flavors and the hookah always taste so good. my favorite is the shadi’s mix. I recommend this place to whoever wants to go, relax and have a good smoke. cloudz hookah is a must try!!!

Love this place! If u living in south bay don’t waist your time to go to hookah beats or other places! There is another cloudz in san jose and they have the best hookahs in the bay! I love hookah so it’s important for me to tell u guys which place is the best.

If you like hookah, this spot plays awesome music and they have super friendly staff as well. I ordered tea, and skipped hookah but overall we had a good time here. The guys had hookah and said it was great. My problem is just the lack of ventilation, the scent was so strong that it made my head hurt. Besides that, if you’re a hookah person this is definitely one of the better spots to go check out.

I came to SFO on a short trip and came to cloudz, I made a good stop by. Gabby helped me with the flavor, she is good. Fumo is BOMB!!!

I live in the area and had heard of this place multiple times. I looked it up on Unilocal and saw that it had 5-​star reviews so I was pretty excited to check it out! I finally got around to coming here and was impressed by the lounge. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was very nice as well.
The reason I am giving this lounge 2 stars is because their main product, hookah, is not that great. We ordered a special mix suggested by one of the workers, which at first tasted great, but was burnt out in 10 minutes. So I told one of the employee what happened and he agreed to make us a new bowl on the house. The new bowl took about 20 minutes to come out, and when it did the same thing happened. It got burnt out in about 10 minutes and tasted like coals. Hate to say, they need to learn to pack better bowls so they last longer.

Best hookah Lounge in the bay! If you’re looking for a quality hookah done right then look no further. The vibe is great, owners are very hospitable and the music is always on fleek ;)

Not bad! I haven’t been to a Hookah lounge for quite a while and Cloudz was pretty chill. Instead of having music, they had 2 TV that played sport games, which was pretty cool too. I think either types of entertainment will be good depending on what kind of crowd you’re going with.
There are red, white, and black couches with small IKEA tables. The area is very open/​spacious. There are TONS OF FLAVORS… with names that are quite unique like King’s Mix, Sushi’s Mix, etc. The menu is listed on a TV screen… traditional/​simple flavors + crazy mixtures.
Price is pretty decent in my opinion. $ 24 for one round of hookah + a water bottle. It was just 2 of us. Hookah for about an hour half. Not too bad.

I’ve been slacking on writing a review for this place. I’ve been here multiple times and receive top tier service.
The owners are a great group and really are focused on providing their customers the best hookah experience.
I always get the Shadi’s mix which isn’t sweet or fruity and has a smooth base.
The inside has great ventilation, hooked up flat screens for either the sports fanatic or the news fanatic and another flat screen that projects their social media accounts with customer tweets and pics. Nice feature by the way.
The couches are leather and comfy. The music is a mix of hip hop or Arabic music. The volume is just right where you are able to carry a conversation and not feel overwhelmed by the noise.
Parking is easy on right on the street of el camino real. Open late as well!

hookah is cracking out here. Spot stays open until 2 am all day everyday Mondays weekends 7 days a week!
Gabys mix is nice
Double Apple is good! It’s hitting enough smoke to exhale and enough smoke to go through your brains! Good stuff.
Staff is hella cool.
Seat?! I finally figures out how to sit there comfortably.

So, Cloudz is still the best hookah place… EVER.
First, it’s the hookah, stupid ;) You notice how the place is called Cloudz? That’s because the hookah that they make really does produce CLOUDS of smoke!
The new location is nice and clean! After months of operation, they have managed to keep the couches white and burn-​hole-​less, which is impressive!
They have added a bunch of new mixes and hookah heads, such as banana, pineapple, and even watermelon, and there’s another exotic fruit I can’t pronounce. I can’t wait to try the banana one. I’ve been to many-​many-​many-​many hookah places all over the world, and I haven’t seen anyone make a banana-​based hookah bowl.
And you can order pizza, in case you get hungry (can we have some salads too, pretty-​please?)
Oh, did I mention they also have FUMO hookahs? I highly suggest you try smoking out of one of those, they are amazing! The smoke is even thicker!
Great service + GREAT hookah = Cloudz.
