The food is okay. The waiter is very nice and friendly. The price is very reasonable.

I had just got my nails done and was craving Chinese. I spotted this place down the street, did some quick Google and Unilocal research, and decided to give them a try. First impression of the restaurant when I walked in was mediocre due to it not being your typical Americanized Chinese establishment, the strong smell, and slippery floors. I definitely received some interesting looks from their Asian customers and staff because my guess is they probably don’t see many Black folks perusing around but I stayed and gave it a go. There are family size tables with revolving buffets in the middle and a counter for you to walk up and place an order. I personally probably wouldn’t eat in the restaurant by choice and prefer to order to go. I ordered wonton soup and a scallops and shrimp with greens(bok choy) entrée. I was surprised how delicious the shrimp and scallops entrée was. It tasted amazingly fresh and unlike LA Chinese restaurants it wasn’t overloaded with garlic but instead had a refreshing bit of ginger and really nice clear chicken broth like sauce. The wonton soup was also delicious and I love the flavor of the chicken broth and fresh pork filled wontons. If in the area I will definitely try them out again, next time I think I’ll try the Lobster Lo Mein.

Great place to eat and run. Many day-workers, blue collars are here for a fast bite. I’d categorize this place as a Mom & Pop, laid-back, non-fancy Chinese deli-type restaurant. Rice plates are delivered quickly to your table. Employees are hardworking, friendly, attentive when they can. Tea and forks were brought to us without us asking. We enjoyed lobster ginger noodles and mince beef tofu over rice. No MSG. All freshly made and good tasting. This place offers reasonably priced traditional Chinese rice plates(roasted duck, bbq pork), noodles and porridge. Portions are generous.

We were going(party of 5 adults) to have lunch at «The Kitchen», I have been wanting to to try it for a while now but it was closed for dinner set up. It was 3:30pm they open at 5pm. Didn’t want to wait so we decided on Cheung Hing. Big mistake. Ordered: Potstickers Combination Wor Wonton Soup Broccoli Beef Honey Walnut Prawns Pork with Green Beans Combination Fried Rice/Chow mein A few sodas, price tag was about 89.00. All the food mention above was mediocre but tolerable since we were all starving from a morning of international traveling after the holidays. I won’t be ordering via delivery or walking in never again. Eveything was ok, except the fact that we had to get our own napkins(stole them from the table next to us) and utensils. My son had to get up and get his own soda. The waitress was no where to be found. When she was around her cell phone was in her back pocket ringing. We were annoyed by the female waitress at this point. A gentle men was finally flagged down. He wrapped up our leftovers and provided us the check. We tipped her less than 10%, mind you we eat out a lot and know what we need to tip. Duh. My brother signs and we start walking out. I am the last one to walk out the door. The male employee stopped me and yelled out, «Excuse me! You know the minimum to tip is TENPERCENT?» I said, «yes ok… not today.» He continued to nod his head in complete disgust and was talking I would assume Cantonese, & yelling you owe me 10%. I walked out. It even made me chuckle, couldn’t believe that he would do this for ONE and TWO there were other people in the restaurant I guess you can say trying to «enjoying» this mediocre restaurant. Restaurant Rescue, please help them. They need way more than simple customer service training. First sucky restaurant in Millbrae, that I have yet to come across.

Ordered mah turkey for pick up at 7. Got here at 7. «Wait 15 minutes» fine. 30 minutes later. «Wait 10 more minutes» not fine. When you order something 2 days in advance. You shouldn’t «run out». That being said food not completely as garbage as their so called service.

Store closed one side. One dying fish in one of the six tanks. Dying means lots of white spot on the fish. Very few customers. Ma po tofu is ridiculous not look like ma po tofu. Food is not tasty.

Have wanted to try this place for awhile now. It’s a Chinese BBQ place, but looks like that classic, old school, chinese dive restaurants with«B» rating — that you know is just going to be AWESOME. Sadly, wasn’t my experience. Went around lunch time. Place was semi-full. Seated right away. As you would expect, tea given quickly, but no real pleasantries –which is fine by me! Had the roast duck jook, beef chow fun, and wonton noodle soup. Jook — Pretty bland. I guess it’s good if you’re sick(which one of us was). Some decent sized duck, which was a little bit salty. Probably wouldn’t get it again. Beef chow fun(dry) — Lacks that wok hay flavor. You can taste the soy sauce, which is never a good sign. It’s not the worst I’ve ever had. If I’m in a bind, I’d probably get it again. Wonton noodle soup — Soup was uninspired. Frankly, missing something. It doesn’t have that Je né sais quoi. Wontons and noodles aren’t much different from else where. But like most noodle soups(such as phở), it’s all about the base. Meghan Trainor would be unimpressed. Lots of Chinese places on this street in Millbrae. We’re going to try another… but maybe get some BBQ to go.

Worst customer service ever. The guy touches his nose then proceeds on to cut the meat. I immediately leave the store after I see that. Another time I go they say the meat is just fresh out of the oven and gives me the day old one. I also ask for sauce and she rudely tells me it won’t taste good and I won’t like it. Excuse me? I think I know what I would like.

Good Cantonese food. Reminds me of the casual restaurants that once occupied every block in SF Chinatown. A friend whose family had a shop there told me about this place. Roast duck, roast pig, soy sauce chicken, bbq pork and other food to go are available in the back of the restaurant(not visible from the sidewalk as in Chinatown). Inexpensive and quick, not exciting but good comfort food. My daughter likes to have jook or lobster Yee Mein Not sure what year they opened, but I have been looking for a place like this in Burlingame for 30 years.

My go to place when I want to provide food for my coworkers. I love the roast pork when it’s fresh. The yellow chicken, duck, and bbq pork is good too. Only problem is man the lines can get long. They need to fix the was they take orders. They have 1 station so as the togos our waiting in line. The people who eat there are allowed to cut the line.

Food: 4 stars Service: 2 stars Overall: 3 stars I think the waiter was super busy. He was the only one serving all of the tables — so of course everyone was trying to get his attention. We flagged him a few times for water and he finally brought them to us only after we nagged him a few times. We ordered beef noodles, rice porridge, and westlake beef soup. I loved them all. Might come again but I probably won’t order that much — it was so I much for two people! For the price, it was very decent.

Fat never tasted so good! I’m usually not one for pork so when my friends suggested coming here for their pork over plain rice, I was hesitant. But, man did their pork blow my mind. It had the best crunchy and flavorful skin that I’ve had since I went to Hong Kong. The flavors were sweet and savory all at once, and had the perfect Chicharrón like crunch and texture. And it was served heated and warm. I think we came when it was super fresh. It was so flavorful and fresh that I actually ordered a second helping. For those of you who don’t know Chinese style pork, it’s suppose to have fat, which you can peel off and not eat like I do, and just eat the skin and meaty bits at the end. I’ve come here before for their duck, and this place is usually empty. I’ve never had anything to-go, so I can’t comment on their poor reviews for to-go food. But, the times that I have eaten here, the service is usually slow, but bearable, and they have always refilled the tea, so I can’t really complain. They’re not know for their Gary Danko service you know? Great pork find. It wowed me.

It’s just flat out okay. Food was decent but a bit bland. Kind of oily but it’s expected. Service was present but not that fast. Decent price. Would not order entrees again. If I go again, I’d just straight up only order the meats and try that.

Man, this place blows my mind every time I come for a visit! Their roast duck with egg noodles soup was just fantastic. They give you really huge portions like everyone said, and cheap too for only $ 7.95. I also bought a pound of their roast pork for $ 9.99/lb. It was delicious too, though the skin was a bit chewy instead of crunchy! Hahaha… But there were other times where they were on point!!! Tonight, I was also in the mood of fried rice, and this dish even surprised me even more because it wasn’t salty, instead; it had a nice clean taste to my palate, the way Cantonese food should taste like. Service was really nice as well. I think Cheung Hing is a secret place that no one talks about because they don’t want anyone to know that they really have good, wholesome, «hole in the wall» food!!! LOL And oh… If you’ve ever traveled to Southern China particularly in Guandong Province, you will know what I mean when I say, «clean palate» and Cheung Hing, definitely has got this down! Pluses: –cheap prices –huge portions –dishes are clean to the palate –southern Cantonese style –good service –takes credit cards Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

I used to love this place, but it has really been going downhill over the past year or so. The roast duck was the reason I used to frequent this place. Lately they’ve been giving out crappy pieces that are really fatty. The last time I went I ordered the roast duck noodle soup and got 3 duck neck pieces! Guess it’s time to find a new place with good roast duck.

This no frills restaurant offers delicious Chinese food at cheap prices. I’ve been getting the Soy Sauce Chicken here for yearsss. It just has the perfect marinade with just enough sweetness. The meat isn’t overly fatty either. Plus, it usually comes with cabbage that tastes so good! I’m not sure why I’m so crazy about the cabbage here, but it goes really well with the chicken! Their Spinach is great too. I was really surprised with the amount they gave us. It has an awesome aroma and amazing garlic flavor. Their Chow Fun is yummy too. The thick, greasy noodles taste great. This dish was loaded with beef and bean sprouts. This was surprisingly the only dish my bf and I finished out of the 3! This location isn’t as good as the SF one, but that’s how it usually is. Food is still good though so I have no complaints.

My family and I used to come here all the time when we lived closeby but I think their quality of food has gone down, either that or my palate has just improved. The only thing I liked out of the 9 dishes we got was the roast duck. Although it wasn’t freshly roasted, it had better flavor than the assorted bbq platter, crab, fish, mushrooms, shrimp, fried rice and fried noodles. I think the food had lots of MSG in it because I wasn’t feeling too great afterwards. There also wasn’t a line outside the restaurant compared to the Kitchen nearby or Hot Pot Garden. Though this restaurant has cheaper food, the quality reflects the price and it is what you should expect.

Not sure why, but a lot of this is the second BBQ pork place I’ve been to in SF that is called«Cheung Hing». Why do so many BBQ pork places want to call themselves that? Perhaps this is one of the mysteries of life that are better left without an answer. Anyways, ordered take-out for roast duck over rice from this place. The roast duck was very juicy, and the portions was big. Incredibly, the cabbage was also very flavorful as well, which was a pleasant surprise! The price was also very very reasonable, given the high quality of the food. Would definitely stop by again when I am in the area.
