Claudia Sutton is a long time Mill Valley resident. Claudia has lived in Mill Valley since 1989 and has raised her three children here. Claudia owned a toyshop in Mill Valley for 10 years before deciding to follow her true passion of antiques and folk art.

I really love this store. It has a huge selection of nostalgic assorted items, including signs, greeting cards, wall art, fabric art, lighting, jewelry, old games, garden art and much more. .. a lot of this and thats, all with a weathered or nostalgic feel. The store is laid out very nicely. We go to Kitchen Sunnyside for breakfast a lot on weekends (just across from Weathered Nest) and while we’re waiting for our order I spend my time in there having a very pleasant shopping fix! There are lots of inexpensive things, and also some expensive things. Something for everyone.

There really aren’t many antiques to speak of here. Old signage and quilts, yes… antique jewelry selection, no. More boho chic painted driftwood junk and charm bracelets. No variety. If you want to go to the baby boomer Anthropologie-​style trinket shop, this is the place you’re after.

Just had to write a review on this very special shop in Mill Valley. It is a treasure chest of beautiful vintage items, lovely well priced jewelry, amazing aromatic candles, purses, and on and on. I can assure you that you will find that special gift for yourself or others. Claudia has created a space that is unique, creative and fun to walk through. Always adding and changing with her special eye for the unusual. I can hardly wait for her Christmas items to appear.
You must stop by and see for yourself. You won’t leave disappointed

I looooove the Weathered Nest! It’s by far my favorite antique/​home décor store in Marin county. Expertly curated you can find amazing vintage pieces for your home, whether it’s that old mirror, bench, sideboard or set of dining chairs you’ve been searching for or the cool old «LOVE» sign or Kantha quilt you didn’t realize you needed, there’s always something amazing I go home with. You rarely see a store with so many goodies at such good prices… I usually have to dig and dig among several stores to find one or two things, whereas Weathered Nest is full of amazing stuff. And Claudia, the owner, is always so helpful in your search and knowledgable about everything in the store as she’s the one who buys all the merch.

Weathered Nest located on Sunnyside Avenue in quaint downtown Mill Valley is by far one of the most charming delights you will find for Vintage Antiquing. The owner has painstakingly hand selected an array of goodies/​finds that will most certainly remind you of yesteryear.

An antique/​gift store that has something for everyone.
I love walking thru Claudia’s store — it’s like taking a walk to the past. I always see items that remind me of the homes of my Grandmothers & Great Aunts and want to buy it all!
If you’re not into vintage — there are lots of great gift ideas. Some of my favorites are the handmade leather purses, the roost glassware & the jewelry. Many pieces are made locally.

Weathered Nest is one of the best shopping experiences that has happened in Mill Valley in a while. It is where I now go to find something different, something unique for my home or when purchasing a gift. Everything has a vintage connection… gorgeous planters… beautiful jewelry… furniture. Always something new each time I enter. I highly recommend visiting this incredible store.
