Been doing TJs workouts for six months. This place is top notch. The trainers are phenomenal — motivating, educational, fun. Highly recommend this place. The workouts aren’t easy but the people there will get you results you haven’t thought possible.

Been going to TJs for about 2 years now. An immensely transformative experience. Wonderful way to get fitter/stronger and more. The coaches are super and the community is really welcoming.

I recently joined TJs gym about a month ago, after 1 year of doing crossfit at another gym. For one thing the location of the new Mill Valley gym couldn’t be easier for me.. but with that aside, this place is really super cool. Coaches– The coaches here are amazingly good at what they do. Marcus(one of the owners) has a knowledge and passion for fitness that is great to be around, and even a bit contagious, I feel very safe and comfortable that I’m“m in good hands with the coaches here. They’re all MORE then just Crossfit certified, but all have extensive backgrounds in fitness, sports, anatomy and coaching. Which is a big thing for me, b/c with all the heavy lifting going on paired with the competitive atmosphere that a WOD can create, it’s important to have someone ‘watch your back’. The gym-. first of all, you won’t find a crossfit gym with state of the art equipment(which I love!) but it’s got EVERYTHING needed to modify any movement or for a heavy weight champ or pro athlete to train daily. Everything you could possible need is there. I like the ‘cage’(I believe it’s called) for pull ups, racks, dips. There’s tons of space, and decent ventilation. everything is very organized too :-) The Classes– There aren’t that many classes. but it’s OK. There’s about 4 a day, first @ 5:45AM, last at 6PM… There have been classes Mon thru Sat, but they’re starting a Sunday class too which I’m stoked about! The times there are classes works really well for my schedule. I’d guess about a dozen people is the average of the classes I’ve been to. The WODs are very intense, classes are 60 minutes. The warm-up is quick and effective and a majority of the 60 minutes is pretty much nonstop. Pricing — reasonable, a little more then some of the other CF gyms around, but less then most of the others. For the quality of the class, equipment, & coaching it’s a great deal!. Plus you can go to any of the 4 locations. You’re not locked into the gym you sign up at. I’m surprised this is the first review! … … anyway, hope it was helpful!
