Karen Buckley and Fay Freed began The Wisdom Connection because of how much we love to champion women — developing their wisdom and their power as women leaders — ready to act create change where it is most needed.

Business Owner

Karen Wilhelm Buckley is Co-​founder and Director of The Wisdom Connection and the non-​profit sister organization, The Wisdom Leadership Initiative. Her Wisdom and Power of Women Leaders Forums in 2003, 2004, and 2005 engaged hundreds of businesswomen in the United States and Europe.

In addition, as Founder and Principle of Communicore Consulting Karen has partnered with leaders in corporate, government and non-​profit organizations as a leadership coach and consultant since 1979.

Karen speaks at conferences and annual meetings and leads retreats on wise leadership, managing complex change, and women’s wisdom in the United States and Europe.

Karen is a published author in the fields of organizational change and the invisible sides of leadership and was selected to be in the Transforming Work and Transforming Leadership books.

Because of a passion for spirit-​based whole-​child education she co-​founded the GreenWood School in 1992, an innovative Waldorf inspired elementary school.
