I’m an organizational whiz who actually loves getting things in order WHILE ALSO relating to the client’s practical needs and feelings. I get people set up on tools (electronic or otherwise) that free their time and attention for doing what they love doing in life. I have free software that I recommend and train people on how to use in an ongoing way. I have a wide range of what I «will» do, as long as the outcome is more unconditional serenity for my client.

History

Established in 2009.

I left a teaching and administrative job in April 2009. A major part of my role there was organizing peoples’ things and thoughts. It had always come naturally to me, and I actually enjoy being faced with a big mess, making a game plan to make it disappear, and supporting the person to let go and make room for the shifts that want to happen. People feel lighter, happier, and relieved after we work together. It is so rewarding. And I learned Dave Ramsey financial techniques by working directly with one of his counselors for over a year. Many similar principles apply to home and financial organization. I see clients from anywhere there is internet or phone access available.

Why do I do this work? I love helping people get clean in any area of life. Money is a great one because it touches so many parts of life. It is my spiritual calling, and has me live in the same ways I’m teaching.

What do I do when I’m not doing this? Personal growth work, walks around San Francisco, shop at farmer’s markets to cook, swing dancing, blues dancing, listen to podcasts like This American Life, The Moth, and the Stanford entrepreneur series

What have I done in previous jobs? Healthcare administration (UCSF), teaching/​coaching (OneTaste Urban Retreat Center), Career management client services (Alumnae Resources/​Lifeprint), among others!

Ok so Beth actually makes finances peaceful and fun. I did not think that was possible. She helped me with my taxes last year (of course I waited till the last minute) and the entire time it was like we were playing a sparkly-​fun video game. You know how it is when a subject you normally suck in becomes clear to you? That is what Beth facilitated for me. And she’s humble and sweet. Can’t beat it!
She’s also wants the best solution for you. Even though she is a GREAT advisor and when I have the money, I will totally spend it on sessions with her, I was reluctant to drop the money at this juncture for some financial help because I’m in the red… so she made a few suggestions that saved me a lot of money.

Hiring Beth was the best thing I did for myself and my dog walking /​training business a couple years ago. I have been working with Beth for almost 2 years now and she takes care of all my book-​keeping for my small business. On a regular monthly basis, she does all my client billing so I can focus on the parts of my job I love the most: working with the dogs and their parents. On an annual basis, she organizes the 1099s for my contractors, creates my yearly report for my tax preparer and suggests my quarterly tax amounts to keep me up to date. I look forward to hiring her to help me with my personal finances too down the line, but just knowing my business is in shipshape form in case of future audits, etc., gives me immense peace of mind and it also clears so much work off of my plate. One of the best parts of working with Beth is that she is super friendly, has a great sense of humor, and is non-​judgmental about where my money goes and how I run things. That being said, she has suggested new methods to track billing and clients that have streamlined what used to take so much longer.
