Meet the Business Owner
Christine Z.
Business Owner
Meet the Owner: Christine Van Camp Zecca is the President of Frantoio Ristorante. She has always been the creative partner in this endeavor. She loves combining her various interests to create a warm environment where people can gather and enjoy healthy nutritious and delicious local food.
History: For 21 years the creative Christine Van Camp Zecca owned and developed with her sister Linda beautiful Castellare di Ugnana in Greve in Chianti. Her ex-husband was helpful in running the enterprise and together they developed a passion for making olive oil from their 1250 olive trees. Frantoio Ristorante is the combining of this enthusiasm for the gift of this nutritious liquid gold with the elegantly simple and clean food of the Italian countryside. As California’s landscape is very similar to Italy the translation of Italian food with what California has to offer was a natural.
