I provide a unique blend of clinical skill, professional experience and personal care for my patients. Your therapy includes a customized acupuncture treatment, Chinese herbs, and nutritional, exercise and lifestyle guidance as needed to create balance and wellness in your life long-term.

I also offer needle-less therapies for children and teens.

My specialties include pain management, sports injuries, depression and anxiety, sleep disorders and pediatrics.

History

Established in 2000.

Raised in a family of physicians and nurses, I was a student of health and healing at an early age. I have a true passion and dedication to eastern medicine and energy work because I see it change and enhance people’s lives, including my own.

My purpose is to help you thrive instead of just survive: to experience renewed energy, a reduction in your stress level, and a dramatic increase in the quality of your physical, emotional and spiritual health.

Business Owner

I have over 15 years of experience as an acupuncturist and herbalist, with specialized training in the treatment of chronic pain, sports injuries, depression and anxiety, and family medicine. I have worked in several integrative medical groups, sports medicine centers, hospital oncology units, and pediatric clinics in California and Colorado, and enjoy treating a wide variety of health care conditions.

I am a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder and Southwest Acupuncture College. I live in Marin with my two spirited daughters and you’ll find me outside the clinic on my mountain bike, skis and yoga mat.

This was my first time seeing an acupuncturist, and I was a bit nervous, but Amie made it wonderful. It didn’t hurt AT ALL (my big fear), and was surprisingly relaxing. Amie is quick, efficient, kind, and knowledgable. She gave me Chinese herbs, visualization exercises, and lifestyle suggestions to support my healing between sessions too. I saw her for PTSD, which is one of her specialties, and this was def a great component of my healing.

I’ve seen Amie for about 6 months and since then my overall condition has improved a lot. I already had some experience with acupuncture and TCM and can tell that her treatments are very good and effective. Also she knows a lot about herbs and gives good advice on how to adjust your lifestyle to support the treatment.

Amie is a very skilled acupuncturist. I’ve been seeing her for nerve pain from a back injury and it has made a world of difference. My sleep is much improved and my pain relief has been better than with high dose NSAIDS. So far, I have only had private sessions (very relaxing), but I plan to try the community acupuncture soon. I have been working with Amie for almost a year now and she has really changed my life. I suffer from anxiety, addiction and stress. Since I have been going to see Amie, my anxiety and stress levels have significantly gone down and it has also helped with my cravings. I prefer to do the private session where I can lay down and rest in a meditative state for an hour. After my session I feel so rested and I have a lot more energy. I also sleep SO much better after doing acupuncture. It only really took about a week for me to see the positive changes from the sessions with her. Amie has also been very helpful in showing me ways to think more positively and has given me tools to work on myself in everyday life.
I really recommend going! It’s so affordable and you really see and feel amazing after you go.

I have been working with Amie Brooke for over 3 months and it has honestly been a life saver. I began acupuncture primarily for fertility issues and was having a very difficult time. Amie immediately gave me hope and calming reassurance. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable but she listens and is so compassionate. My response to her acupuncture was immediate, I have been able to sleep better, I have more energy and it is something i look forward to every week. My cycle;s have already began to shift and my overall health is much better. Struggling with an infertility diagnosis and trying to conceive can be a very painful experience and working with fertility doctors can be very overwhelming. Amie has taught me to trust my body and approach healing in a whole new way and that has changed my perspective on so many levels. Amie and Chalita are great!
I began acupuncture about 6 months ago. I have had extremely bad allergies my entire life. According to my mom, I began taking benadryl when I was 18 months old. I took allergy shots for 5 years, but that didn’t seem to help much, as I still had to take medication to prevent or lessen symptoms.
After the first couple of weeks of acupuncture, I saw a huge improvement. After 2 months my allergies were practically gone. I no longer need daily medication. As long as I do acupuncture once a month to maintain balance, I can breathe well, I have no reactions to airborne allergens and the treatments help my knee injury pain to boot. Hard to beat!
