Wait, did you just come from Falling Water?! Are you hungry and looking for something to fill your belly? STOPHERE. This is one of the cutest small-town diners I have ever been to and is deserving of some attention. We passed by it on the way to get to Falling Water. We noted that it was there, but we were too excited to experience the house to think about where we wanted to go for dinner. On our way back, with the trusty Unilocal app at our sides, we ran into this location again. Out of the Fire looked great but being on a budget, it was pretty much out of the question for the both of us. We entered the building and the first thing I loved: the interior was decked out in Thanksgiving decorations. I’m used to the retail life where everyone just skips over Thanksgiving and goes right to Christmas or else they don’t decorate at all. The fact that any decorations were up, and even better, of the next closest holiday(and my favorite!) made me feel really at peace. Even before they said hi to us, I knew we made the right decision stopping in there. We could choose where we sat down, so I chose a booth in a corner. The waitress was very kind to us and checked on us periodically to fill our coffee cups. The coffee was good and refreshing after a long day. The menu was filled with delectable food for that same great diner price that I absolutely love. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and my friend order the steak hoagie. Both were great options for us. My pulled pork was great although it was a pretty small portion. My cole slaw, which I don’t normally eat, was very good! We also got an order of fries which tasted wonderful. Very fresh and crispy. Their many homemade pies looked absolutely delicious, but we had our fill at the end of our meal so we passed on that. You pay your bill at the counter whenever you’re ready(no one is rushing you out the door). They have this really cool journal thing at the register where you log where you’re from, how you liked the food/area/whatever. It was such a cute feel of the restaurant. It’s awesome that they care enough about your presence to know who walks in and enjoys their food. How many other restaurants have that?! Couple other notes: Their slogan is «Come as strangers, leave as friends». I would say that if I lived nearby or close enough, I would definitely be a friend of everyone there. They were chatting and happy with their regulars and very friendly to us, as strangers. Even though I may never be back here, I’m certainly a fan of the diner. Unfortunately I didn’t even think about taking photos while I was there, but the next big fan of the diner should take some for me :) Also, if you’re going to Falling Water in the morning, they seem to have breakfast plastered on their marquee outside. Out of all my reviews in my travels, I was most excited to write about this one. Again, I implore you if you’re around the area, please support Mill Run Grille and check it out!

Stopped here on my way to ohiopyle and glad I made that choice. The food was excellent and fresh. The service was friendly and polite and would stop here again if I’m out that way again. Don’t miss stopping here.
