Mill Creek KinderCare

We enrolled our daughter in this KinderCare location when she was 4 months old. We were immediately impressed by the setup of the infant room, as well as the warmth and enthusiasm of both infant teachers and the center director. My daughter absolutely flourished in this environment, and I greatly appreciate the time that her teachers made for me to answer questions or share stories/​pictures about my daughter’s day. As parents who must work outside of the home, it makes our lives much easier knowing that we can trust that our daughter is learning and growing in such a supportive, loving environment.
When it came time to make the switch to an older classroom, I appreciate that the teachers started transitioning my daughter in small increments a month before she turned 1 so that she could get used to the new routines and rhythms of the toddler classroom. Though parts of the transition have been difficult for our daughter to adjust to (a much larger student/​teacher ratio than in the infant room, «new» teachers, and dropping to one daytime nap), I feel like everyone has worked hard to make sure that we’re all on the same communication page.
I would definitely recommend this location to other parents, and will be sending any siblings that we may have down the road to this center. Mill Creek KinderCare is simply the best!

My son is from India and he doesn’t know much of English, I am really thankfull for kinder care teachers for their patience with my son. I could see improvement in my son in a week. I would recommend to parents who want special care.

My daughter went to a different kindercare from when she was 3 months old for 1.5 years. I’ve been a huge kindercare fan. So when we moved to this area, I signed up my daughter in millcreak kindercare. Though few of the toodler teachers were very kind (ms Megan and Ms Cally), my daughter was there for 3 weeks and I decided to move her. In those 3 weeks, 5 times I noticed that in the toddlers classroom teacher child ratio was not according to WA state law of 1:7. Once I saw 10 kids with 1 teacher. When I reported to the director, she said the other teacher was on his/​her way. And finally on week 3 my daughter got scratched by another kid on both her cheeks, about quarter inches each. The incident report said, she was not sharing her toy so the other kid scratched her. Next day i wanted to talk to the director. I stood for 15 mins while other staffs went looking for her. Then i found her inthe kindergarten class, substituting for some other teach (totally understandable). I was worried about the attitude of the director towards that incident. And above all, the teacher’s name that was written in the incident report was surprised to see the scar next day, because she did not know about the incident.
This place is lack of staff and did not match with my past kindercare experience.
