The Mill Bar & Grill

Not open! We went to eat at the Shack instead and found out that they were only open a few times in the past month. Boooo! Don’t waste your time getting your hopes up for Taco Tuesday or anything else for that matter.

Awesome service! Come on Tuesdays!!! $ 2 drafts beers and margaritas! Also $ 2 beef tacos! Very tasty tacos. The pizza was very good as well. The Service here are on top of their game. We had two waitress servicing us. It was awesome! They were very friendly and easy going.
We came for the love music. John Tatofi was so awesome (my favorite word btw)

Walked in and sat down as the signs said to, waited for a little under 10 minutes within VIEW of the kitchen to be noticed and served.
No one even came out to check the seating area in that time and with the pounding music they couldn’t hear me call out. This same music drove us out, we weren’t willing to wait any longer with the speakers cranked up to max volume right behind our seats.
God, I miss Waldos.. .

The worst service i have ever. The servers were fighting completely not paying attention to customers. Positive, the food is good. This is the worst of all 3 locations on island.

Don’t go to eat. Blue Moon was flat. We ordered fish tacos they were fair. Fish was frozen, came with stale chips!

We came in at 11:15 am for lunch, not realizing that they don’t open until 11:30. The server kindly asked the kitchen if they were ready, and sat us. She was very friendly. We ordered the beef nachos and blazing wings, which were both okay.

Service is EXTREMELY SLOW. They for sure need to work on that.
Pizza was decent, a good size.

PEOPLE BEWARE: This place SUCKS! The food is terrible. The place is dirty. The number one problem is the waitresses don’t help anyone. They only help guys that are giving them attention. I also think that its rude that they drink on the job. If I could give negative stars I would.

Foods is not good. Our first server was great, but she had to leave, so she needed to cash us out. After that, the three other waitresses did not even come to serve us, we notice they prefer serving there regulars. So we left and went to the shack. Mill close down.

I don’t even know where to start with this place.
SERVICE: For awhile, every time I have been here, the waitress was either mediocre or super shitty so I’ve learned to either sit at the bar (if it’s slow) or get my ass up & walk to the bar (if it’s busy).
FOOD: I no longer like to eat here because their food was never consistent. One night, their onion rings were on point. Came another night, onion rings were soggy. Same deal with their nachos. On the plus side, their pizzas were very ‘ono but NOTHING compared to Waldo’s.
ENVIRONMENT: When it’s super crowded, the open concept works in their favor. Very airy, doesn’t get muggy (unless that’s how the weather is) BUT on slow nights, if it’s nippy outside, it is fkn FREEZING cold. I mean uncomfortably cold. Like, the alcohol was not affecting me because it was so damn cold.
Their furniture is basically lawn furniture. No Bueno for females when wearing shorts.
The ladies’ room is slowly deteriorating. Their door needs some TLC & it’s a busy night, don’t wait till the last minute to go pee. There is only ONE toilet. I’ve waited in line for 10 minutes on more than one occasion.
Overall, The Mill got 2 stars from me because they never have a cover charge no matter what is going on & because of their pizza.
Why do I continue to go there? It is just way too convenient for me. It’s literally a 3 minute walk & sometimes, I don’t feel like walking the extra 2 minutes to The Shack. The end.

They have live music the food was good a little loud customer service was good I would go back again I like the outside felling

If you decide to sit upstairs, it might be a wait for your order. It would be faster to go down to the bar to order. I’ve also been in a few times when it seemed like they were short staffed. It’s best to just stay patient, they will help you out at some point. Being a former server I can tell the staff is doing their best with what they got.

Let us begin with a restaurant that enjoys more space than customers. Lacking people, The Mill fills its nooks and crannies with an old drum set, lawn furniture, and some of the most charming alcoholics in Mililani.
The Mill’s draft menu rings as hallow as their patronage. Enjoy freshly drawn pints of the following four legends: Miller Lite, Bud Light, Heineken, and Blue Moon. Who could ask for more?
Their menu dares to venture into the unknown pupus. Have you ever heard of «nachos»? What about «french fries»?! I didn’t think so. The rest of the menu is similarly daring.
If you want a restaurant with a staff lacking all imaginable passion for design, food, beer, and spirits, welcome to The Mill!

Dartboards, beer and Pastele stew and great service… Taco Tuesday’s are the best for beer and margaritas… Beer towers are amazing and at a great price… Who could ask for more from a bar and grill…

If you want to go to a bar where the server’s drunk husband shows up out of nowhere and starts throwing your drinks on the ground; then by all means come to The Mill. The server/​waitress had to restrain her husband while I told my buddy to wait outside to prevent a full blown fight. We were being verbally threatened and this belligerent drunk had no reason to have any «beef» with us. Also, no security was available to stop this altercation, so things got really creepy when this guy starts mentioning that my friend is gonna get «lickins» and tries to get past me and his wife to go after my friend a few more times.
I called for the manager the following day to make sure the server was okay and to explain the situation. Never heard anything. If this was a recurring domestic issue maybe this person shouldn’t work at a bar. On a different night, this could’ve ended a bitt different for this guy.

Would only go for $ 2 Tuesday taco night and $ 2 on tap. Garlic chicken and Pastrami are nothing to rave about. The pastrami was cut Julian style (have never seen that before) and to much bun for the small amount of meat. The coleslaw was not creamy, more vinegary. Garlic chicken was a good amount, 2 scoops of rice but the Mac salad was maybe 2 heaping tablespoons worth. Not worth the money at all.

They just updated the menu… and have Garlic shrimp! Now I don’t need to go all the way to the North Shore to get my shrimp fix.
Also, the garlic chicken is delish. And the fried noodles with smoke meat. Good food and good vibes.

I have them for stars because the food is great as well as the drinks. The set up for servers are whack. For the late night, I’m not sure if the servers serve whatever patrons they can then get their sales and commission off of that. I tried to get my bill taken care of but my server towards the end said I had a different server and I need to go thru jeet so I waited. Then I decided to go to the bar and the bartender also said I needed to go to my server. As I washed for her she took FOREVER to bring my check. I’m pretty sure she forgot who I was even tho I gave her my ID and my pic is on the back side of my card.
As I write this, 5 minutes later, she had so not come. I even had time to walk upstairs to check out their darts area. Not sure where she went.
Nonetheless, I will still come back when everyone is coming here for a quick drink or Thirsty Thursday, which is hardly ever tho. Sadly.

I get crazy anxiety attacks when trying new bars. What if I hate the vibe? what if I awkwardly sit at the table and the waitress doesn’t swing my way and I look like «that person». Wasn’t the case this past Tuesday. I was down on my luck and my friend wanted to grab drinks here to ease my mind. I like that its open air. Kinda like Mai Tais but way more harsh on the eyes. Server was great though. Maybe bc it was slow but she was very attentive. So our drinks never went empty and she kept checking up on us which was nice. Good HH. $ 2 margaritas and $ 2 fish tacos. We left drunk and full which Is always a plus.

First of all, when are they gonna shell out for a new sign? It’s been open for so long already and they still have that Waldo’s Pizza sign still up –_​-​. That’s not the only thing that needs updating, the whole place is kinda a mess. Looks like a homemade bar set up in someone’s garage. They use patio furniture and with that big opening as the entrance, it seriously looks like a garage…
Regardless of the looks, I’ve been wanting to try out the food from them for a while. And one fateful day, I see a coupon for 15% off in the Midweek… u know I can’t resist coupons! Anyways, after always passing by this place, I already knew I didn’t want to eat in… the ambiance is uhhh… yea… so we decided to do take out.
When we got there, there were only a few people at the bar so you figure, how busy could the bartender be? Well we were awkwardly standing there for a few minutes when we finally got her attention she looked up at us like HUH? Like that sarcastic «can I help u guys?» look. And it was just the look, she didn’t even say anything. So we asked her if she had menus and she told us they’re over there and pointed. Then we had to help ourselves to some menus and took a look.
After we decided, we were waiting for a while again and then an actual waitress finally came out and asked us if we wanted to do take out. She seemed pretty busy so we made it fast. We ordered the spinach and artichoke pizza and some jalapeño poppers. Then we showed her the coupon and she had to ask a few people about it, then finally accepted it. That’s kind of one of my pet peeves; when places dish out coupons and never inform their staff about it so they gotta inconvenience their customers as well as themselves to go find out about it. We felt bad too cause she seemed busy since I think she was the only waitress at the time so we gave her a nice tip.
The food was alright. Not bad but not great either. The pizza had very little toppings but the cheese they used was pretty tasty. The jalapeño poppers seemed fresh but were pretty bland because it was literally just jalapenos and cream cheese fried… no seasoning or cheese or anything. It only came with 4 pieces too. I honestly like Jack in the Box’s poppers better.
My friends like to come here to drink sometimes but honesty, it doesn’t look like the most fun place to drink either. This place is just as the two stars describes it… MEH.
