Pad Thai was not bad, a bit non traditional but tasted ok. The fried tofu appetizer was just ok… Service was friendly, I would go back to try their sushi.

Sadly, I am removing a star from my review. I considered removing two stars, I really did. So here was my experience last night: I walk in and am seated. The waitress asked if I would like something to drink while looking at the menu. I requested a glass of plum wine. She responded with«WHAT??» She had never heard of plum wine… working at Tongs Thai. As I looked around I noticed there were no signs about the ½ price sushi, which I have been enjoying for along time. I enquired. The waitress simply walked away and yet another waitress came over to explain THEYNOLONGEROFFER ½ PRICESUSHI!!! I said, «Oh. Ok.» And as I opened the menu, she said, «So do you want to stay?» Not only did they take away the one thing that brought in lots of customers but then I was invited to leave. Are you kidding me? Pretty sure I won’t be back for awhile.

It’s become one of the favorites places for lunch for people who work in Milford area. Anything on the menu is good and you cannot go wrong with it. Under $ 8 for Thai food is excellent and lunch portions are just about perfect withe free spring roll. Always crowded for lunch but the service is very quick and responsive. Never had any complaints about the food.

Today was my first visit. The spring rolls we’re excellent ! I had pad Thai and it was delicious. My only recommendation is that you ask for very mild spice and get some pepper flakes on the side. I got a 5 and it was so hot but a good flavor. I will be getting a 2 next time. Great place tho

Disappointing results two of the last three visits. One attempt to order at 8:10 was frustrated by the fact they closed at 8pm due to «running out of rice». The other episode, they ran out of pad-see-ewe at 7:30 pm. Most restaurants would cook more, but they silently cancelled my order instead. I found out when I arrived to pick my order. Unacceptable outcome. They claim they tried calling me, but their phone system only stores the last 2 numbers. Why don’t they write down the # with my order? It’s almost like they have a day manager who gets things done, and a night manager who lets the place go to hell. They won’t be around long at this rate.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it, so I have to tell you the Kai Kra Pao is amazing. It’s ground chicken in a brown sauce with vegetables. If you’ve had the lettuce wraps at p.f. Changes its like that without the lettuce. Everything I’ve had here is really good.

Love their noodle and sushi dishes. I’ve had pad see ewe from 15 Thai places, the texture of the rice noodles is the best here. The two types of cabbage combine well with the other favors. Their lunch specials are a good deal, even the sides are well done. Best Thai in Milford!

My husband and I love coming here for lunch. We always split one bento box and get an extra soup, since it comes with one. That is PLENTY of food of us to share and it is amazing. The sushi is quite good, the pad thai is excellent and the silver noodle soup is one of my favorites.

A nice little Thai place in Milford. One of my favorite Massaman curries in the greater Cincinnati area. Pair it with one of their perfectly crunchy chicken spring rolls(comes with most dishes) and you have yourself a pretty delicious and filling meal. Their always friendly service is just another reason I will keep coming to get lunch here as long as I’m working in the area. Don’t be shy – give it a try!

Probably my favorite place in this part of town. Try to eat lunch here once a week whether it’s dine in or carry out. Food and service are always good. Servers are knowledgeable and the Chef is quite talented and occasionally comes out to talk to the customers when he can. Humble strip center store front but the vibes inside feel right.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The people are really nice. The food is great and affordable; I always get the curry fried rice(SOOOGOOD). Excellent find especially for Milford.

I usually dine weekly as I’m a big fan of sushi! They have great prices durning the week at dinner time they have half priced sushi my fav. Is the number 17 roll and the tempura asparagus roll. It’s always fresh and the portions are great. If your not a fan is sushi the have plenty of other thing to choose for try the fried shrimp with a sweet plum sauce or the won tons! They have a great wait staff and always bring out your food hot and quick!

Good thai dishes. Their web site has a seriously outdated menu, as they do have Pad Thai and Pad See Ew(not sure I spelled this one correctly). I enjoyed the Thai dishes they have. Not too spicy, even at a 4⁄5 spice level.

I’m a regular at Tong’s. The sushi is always and fresh and delicious(and half price Monday through Thursday 4:30−8!) and my fiancé enjoys the pad kee mao. The staff is always friendly and we always have a great experience there. 5 stars!

Solid good Thai. Decent sushi. Very good service. Casual. Strip mall atmosphere is the only drawback but you don’t notice much once you’re in. Lunch has a good set of price points and value. Menu is not the classic Thai only line up its more of a theme with asian dishes that might not be the classic thai.

Excellent food & service! Try the Pad Thai and the Thai iced tea. Have been here twice in the past week and all 4 of us loved everything we are. Entrees, appetizers and soups. Will try desert next time we go.

Lunchtime is tongs time. The prices are reasonable(~$ 10) and the food, filling and just adequately prepared. The sushi is prepared on the spot, fresh, and with care. Huge slabs of tuna, salmon, and white fish atop sticky rice… Nom. No skimpiness here! You get a nice selection of sushi, salad, and or noodle with the«lunchbox special» for $ 10-$ 12, which Is what I recommend. But the soup was questionable. The fish sauce in the hot and sour soup overpowered the aroma and reeked mildly of spoiled fish. I have had a spicier, delectable red curry prior to my most recent experience, and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a spice challenge. But the choices are limited and tongs, who has ownership over the market in this area, does the best with what it has. The ambiance is kind of lame, but that doesn’t deter most clients. I have always gone and witnessed a full house at tongs. Would I recommend it? Yes, but not because it’s the best I ever had.

Great little place… food is fresh especially the veggies. The prices are decent for dinner. I enjoyed the service, scene, and food. I’d recommend this place, better than most Thai restaurants around Cincy and affordable.

Just tried Tong’s for the first time yesterday, and I’m a fan! My partner and myself live in Loveland/Milford and we are big fans of Thai food and Sushi, but don’t always feel like driving to Hyde Park. We decided to try it and we were not disappointed! I had two sushi rolls(the Sweet 17 and the Spicy California) with a small ginger salad: the salad was good, the ginger dressing was very good but very intense as there was a lot of it and the sushi rolls were excellent. My partner had the Chicken Pad Thai and he said it was really good. Overall, we had a good experience and will be going back. :) They also do ½ price sushi on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Great food at very reasonable prices. You can taste that the dood is freshly made. Ive been a customer of this location for the past 13 Years and it has had a couple Changes of ownership. This owner has it right – improved food quality, and the service is very friendly and efficient. Pleasant atmosphere — a great dining option in Milford just a mile from Main Street. The half price sushi nights are the best deal in Cinci– always fresh. The Thai dishes are comparable to the orher thai restaurants in Cincinnati. I’ll be returning! They serve beer and wine — try the Singha, there is no beer that better suits Thai food!
