History

Established in 2009.

Born of a love for all things vintage — with a passion for old metal and weathered wood, The Well Seasoned Nest has been at this location for a few years shipping its wares internationally through two Etsy shops and our own online shop. The Nest just recently opened its studio /​warehouse to provide a unique shopping venue to those who love wonderful old things with a history and a story behind them. And now, adding upcycled and repurposed items to the offerings, The Nest has expanded its repertoire. Expect the unexpected, and visit often to see creations in progress!

A varied background — thirty years as a high school Home Economics educator, restaurateur, farmers market organizer and manager, home and garden retail shop owner in a vintage bank building — and now, a local retailer with a passion for finding great vintage, and creating unique items from things that still have some good life left in them.
