Opened in the Fall of 2012, The Sock Hop Coin Laundry has new equipment, a bright open floor plan, and a Retro 1950′s Style that is sure to please.

All the way from its checker board floors and Fire Engine Red Folding Tables, to its’ Chrome Stools and «Soda-​Pop Like» counter, the Retro vibe is everywhere. You can sing along with the retro music, or watch either of the two flat screen TV’s. All while utilizing some of the Laundry industries must efficient machines to take care of the chore at hand.

Prior to completely remodeling the first Sock Hop location near Milford Hospital, Gerry spent a couple of decades in the Mortgage Banking Industry. A few years back he decided it was time to try something completely different. His research lead him to the Laundromat Industry. «I looked at dozens of stores, all over the area, but when this one became available it seemed like fate. .. I was born & raised here, about a block from Gulf Beach.» Now Sock Hop has two locations, both here in town, and it is really great to be a part of this community.
