i will never step foot in this place again. No one in either building know what they are doing. the services are awful and the place should just be knocked down. Dont waste your time or money!

I travel quite far to go here. The owner is really helpful and offers fairly good pricing. I really love Georgiana for my injections! Julie is great for nails too. I can’t wait to go back. Hopefully, they’ll offer a special for injections for Mother’s day! :-)

I want to like this place. I have been here several times, but sadly, I won’t be returning.
This is one of the only places I have found that offers couples massages, which was a huge selling point. My boyfriend and I have gone about 3 times. While he’s always been satisfied, I always seem to have a disappointing experience.
The last time we went, his masseuse was someone he’s had in the past. I, however, had another woman. Not sure if she was new, but it was hands down the worst massage I have ever had.
The first 10 minutes I laid there, face down, covered almost up to my ears in blankets, while she fiddled with something in the corner (towels, lotions, who knows). Meanwhile, my boyfriend’s massage has been well underway for those 10 minutes. She then comes back and lightly touches my back for a minute. When she decides to take the blanket down to start the massage, her hands were ICE COLD. She then talks to me for 10 minutes (mind you, I was trying to relax and enjoy this experience) about how cold her hands are. Every 5 minutes, she would stop the massage, get up, and again, do something on the opposite side of the room. The pressure was so light that it felt like I was simply having lotion applied to my body. She placed the heating pad on random parts of my body and wrapped one foot up in a hot towel — not sure what the point was. When she left, she never removed the heating pad, I had to get up and place it on the ground.
Worst massage experience to date. While the staff is friendly and it has a great atmosphere, I can’t justify spending any more of my money here.

Simply amazing the Colon hydrotherapy machine was the best one I’ve ever used before. Now I feel fresh clean and Vibrant once again. I am Brand new thanks to you.

Have gone here a few times and have always left disappointed. Especially for the prices. Much higher than most in the area but with less quality. Cute building/​interior design. Friendly staff, wide-​variety of beauty treatments. If you find a groupon or special offer its worth a try! If not, don’t waste you’re time unless you want to spend alot.

I used to love this place. Really. They use pretty good products but over the last year and a half their prices have gotten outrageous! Prices for a regular facial went from 60 to 65 to 70 and now 75. I cannot imagine paying that much for a basic facial unless they are putting pure gold on it or something. Outrageous. I’ve recommended the place over the years to multiple friends and family but the prices are so steep. None of us can afford it.

Excellent service! Very knowledgeable estheticians, pleasant atmosphere and reasonable pricing. Great value all around!

I love this place. I have actually traveled from Boston out to Mac Med for their great service and prices. I have had my hair highlighted and cut, manicures, pedicures, waxing and massage here and every single service was great!

Had the most amazing experience there! I got my hair colored by Jessie and she is awesome! So nice, so professional, totally outdid herself! So so so impressed! Can’t wait to go back! Had the best time!

Today I had a wonderful 90 minute massage by a woman named Melanie with magic hands. She certainly had the special touch. After a long week at work, I was able to completely relax. The entire experience was very relaxing and pleasant, starting with the smiling faces at the reception desk. Thank you Debbie (The Owner) for consistently using client feedback to make improvements. I would recommend everyone go for a massage and ask for Melanie.

I just moved to the area and have been looking for a new place to get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed. I’m going to continue to go to Mac Med for now, but I’m a bit on the fence about it. The first time I went, the technician really worked with me to get my eyebrows exactly the way I like them, but I felt that my upper lip was still a little on the fuzzy side. I went back this morning to a different tech, who seemed to do a really good job on the upper lip, but wouldn’t let me see my eyebrows until she was done, at which point I realized they were totally not the way I like them and it was too late to do anything about it. I think maybe I just need to find the right aesthetician here for me. I appreciate the spa-​like atmosphere of the place, but some of it seems a little over the top. Also, I should note that tips have to be paid in cash, but the pricing seems very reasonable to me.

OMG! I can’t say enough great things about Mac Med Spa. I had been bouncing around from salon to salon and my «regular stylist» was moving, so it was opportunity to try someplace new and not feel like I was «cheating» ya know.
I went in to see Lauren, after my last haircut totally got botched, to see if she could help fix it. BOY DID SHE EVER! My hair never felt and looked better after her touch!
From the amazing shampoo experience, literally feels like a personal 10min head massage, its the most amazing shampo experience ever, and that was just the beginning!
She then cut my hair, talking me through every step she was doing and makig sure it was everything I was looking for, very attentive to the needs and wants of the client.
I re-​booked an appointment for 6weeks later to get a trim and a partial foil (she talked me into trying highlights, I was always disappointed with highlights so I just gave up on them before).
I also received a call from the owner the very next day to see how my experience at Mac Med was and if I was happy with the service, as she follows up personally with all new clients to assure their expectations were met, I never had this before either, super classy and professional!
My foil appointment was last night! I messed up and put the appointment in my phone for Wednesday instead of Thursday (Oops!) well how amazing is she, she came in on her day off just to accomodate me! I thought that was super sweet and couldnt believe she did it for me, it was my 2^nd visit with her.
She looked at my «inspiration pictures» of what color i was hoping for, and immediately smilied and said «oh ya we I can do that». She foiled my hair and then off to the pedicure chair for her to do my polish change. She was so gentle and did a great job re-​painting my toes to a bright purple with sparkle overlay!
We then went off to the shampoo chair as my color timer went off, OMG best part… here comes the 10min head massage, and boy was it, it was so relaxing…
Then back to the chair to get cut, she used the razor to thin me out and get some bulk out. Grabbed her blow dryer and dried and styled me…
My hair came out amazing! I can’t say how thankful I am to have finally found my new «it girl» and I will not be salon jumping any longer, my stylist is Lauren at Mac Med Spa and will be from now on!

I’ve been to Mac Med Spa a good 5 times over the last 3 or 4 years. Each time for a spa treatment. Usually a facial or a massage. I have not been to MMS for hair or nails. Each and every time I have had a service I have had nothing but a good experience. The prices are reasonable and everyone from the girls at the front desk to the masseuses and estheticians are pleasant and I leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. The only think that I would change would be the way you tip. Cash or check only for tips. Luckily, I just happened to have a blank check on me.
I will be seeking their services again soon!
~My last trip was yesterday and I had Melinda as my esthetician. She was super nice and talkative at the right moments! I will be asking for her again.

Just moved to the area and was in desperate need of an eyebrow wax. I have driven by Mac Med a couple times and made an appointment and hoped for the best. I had an appointment with Jen and she was awesome. I had recently gotten a hack job on my brows and she took so much time working to make them look great and she was really, really friendly, talkative and nice. They’ve got a new returning customer!

If there were 6 stars I would give it. With everyone there not a bad apple! Better machines than doctor’s offices for laser at half the price– I KNOW! Everyone professional. Best Spa EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I was back in town and needed some time for myself so I figured I would take some me time at a spa instead of a regular nail salon for some added pampering. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the service I received there. Not only was my manicurist annoying, but after she ended up making me bleed she blamed me for asking for short cuticles. The last time I checked the whole point of getting a manicure is to keep your nails all neat and tidy, this would include cuticles. I would neither recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever go back when back in town. Take your business elsewhere.
