We used Gallo to move us last week and it went great. Sam, the gentleman in charge did a great job at loading our house full of stuff in to two trucks and we unloaded without one casualty. The crew he had with him were top notch, polite and did everything possible to make sure we were happy. All the furniture was set up with care and all of the boxes were placed exactly where we asked them to go. This was not a small effort, we had two trucks that were chock full of boxes, furniture and loose stuff that all made its way to our new home.
Strongly recommend them if you are moving. Contact Steve Gately, he was our Sales person and did a great job at estimating the cost and keeping us on schedule.
If you are moving soon, don’t forget that they have to eat… buy them lunch and a cash tip at the end of the day goes along way.

Take it from me, I served in the military for 12 years and went through a household move every three years. I also have moved outside of the military numerous times using multiple movers, most sub par. These guys, know moving which in a word is a tough job and even tougher to find the right mover. Not only were the guys professional and polite, they took the brutal job of moving out of my hands and made it look easy. They covered the floors and took time to move furniture the right way and even disassembled and reassembled the furniture at each point. Plus they were priced at half the cost of other movers and did it all in one day in a 10 hour time period. It was the best experience with a move I have ever encountered and this was the reason I researched about 20 movers and settled with these guys. They really backed up all the positive reviews and their reputation. If you are dealing with the grueling process of having to choose a mover, just make the decision to go with these guys and you will not be sorry!

Terrible… Seemed like a great move going in (doesn’t it always) very professional and courteous. Unfortunately those were only words, we paid thousands of dollars to have our boxes of life’s possessions stacked (if you can call it that) up in one room, which is fine. Except for the fact that there was little regard for size and weight… Not to mention bed and tables not reassembled and a few boxes that didn’t belong to us made the scene and begs the question which boxes of ours are out there in the ether.

I need afew end tables, lamps and a big easy chair moved. I would do this myself with freings but i have a herniated disc. Gallo got great reveiws so i figured I would give them a call. I told them I needed about a pickup trucks worth from Mendon to Lynn. They guy didn’t as any questions and just said that for a job that small it would be an hourly rate of 130 per hour minimum with a crew and a minimum of four hours. Sounded like they just didn’t want to drive to Lynn. Too bad Im a consultant and live in a house on the ocean and will need movers in the future for a big job. Not calling them again ever. Horrible customer service from my experience.

Gallo Moving has been serving my clients for the past few years and I have received great feedback. In addition, Tony Gallo has made himself available for my questions many times so that I can explain moving details and concepts to my clients.
He has several great services in addition to moving, such as COWS (Containers on Wheels) for clients to self pack, and a Staging Service that hauls away a small number of items to storage for help in staging homes.
Lastly, Gallo Moving takes part in the support of the surrounding communities. We just got done with an Earth Day event where Gallo paid for a mobile shredding service to attend, as well as hauled away a storage unit filled with unwanted electronics.

I haven’t moved any belongings with Gallo Moving myself, but have heard from other people who have had very positive experiences.
I work for a local non profit that helps children and Gallo Moving and Storage is very supportive of local community organizations and works hard to make a difference. I have been in their storage area many times– they store surplus items for us and I’ve always been impressed with how clean and organized it is. I have seen other people’s belongings being loaded and they look to be taking great care. The staff there are always pleasant and helpful.
