Fresco Pizza Café is a family business built on family values to provide a welcoming and warm environment where the Milford area can enjoy one of their favorite foods.

Great food starts with great ingredients. We bake our own focaccia bread daily. Our sauce is made with fresh locally sourced herbs. Many of our soups are homemade.

The quality of our meat is a top priority. Fresco’s roasts our own turkey and chicken every day. Our sausage, corned beef and ground beef is supplied by Milford’s own Village Butcher. The rest of the meats come from a variety of top quality suppliers.

Fresco’s continues to offer a variety of pasta dishes. We also have added wine and beer to the menu.

Fresco’s offer a delivery service as well as take out or dine in options for your enjoyment.

History

Established in 2011.

The dream for Fresco Pizza Café began in the heart of Chris who says that pizza and fun are forever joined together for family enjoyment and celebrations. He developed the recipes for the dough and the sauce and uses the finest cheese blend to top it off, creating a pizza that is second to none.

My wife, Teri, and I are residents of Highland, MI who love food and people. Fresco Pizza Café was a concept developed to allow for casual family dining at a reasonable price. Quality, service and local sourcing are the primary goals. This is our third business. The first is in Grand Rapids, MI. The second is in Auburn, IN. We are so please to have the third business located so close to our home.

Nobodys here. I have been here a few times, and there is never anyone eating here – guess thats a clue.
You order, then sit down. They begrudgingly give you some silver ware and your beverage. The one person at the register seems to do it all.
The crust is OK and the sauces is good_​_​despite being a little heavily applied. But the toppings are very scant. I ordered a three topping pizza, and most slices had only one or two pieces of topping (combined). For the price, I expected more. This was not a bargain price or coupon pizza. I think there were only four or five little sausage crumbles on the whole small pizza – not enough for even one per slice.
I would say maybe they have a good carry out business, but again, the few times I stopped here, no body came in.
There are better pizza options in town. After my last visit, I wont be back.

This pizza is delicious! It is apparent that the sauce is homemade as it is very fresh tasting and flavorful. Also, they use the absolute best cheese available and it really makes a difference. Honestly, you won’t find a better pizza anywhere else.

Great pizza when its made right. They are not consistent so you never know what you will get. I fell in love with their crust which can be thick and chewy, YUM, but its a crap shoot. If I want the same old boring crust I can call their competition. My husband and I even get in a squabble if I want their pizza cause he is over them. I keep hoping they will be as good as when they first opened but they keep raising their prices, giving less toppings and no puffy crusts so I am now over them also! Say goodbye to the Ladd’s!

This place is a great alternative to fast food. Is it fancy? No. Top of the line quality? No. But the location, price and quality are all appropriate. The service is quick, the pizza is good, the atmosphere is fine. Can’t beat it if you’re feeling like going out, but don’t want to spend a ton of money. We like it!

Ugh. The service here has reached such a dismal low, I won’t come here again.
They’re back to their old tricks, like swiping your credit card and then disappearing with it in the back, so that you can’t call them out on not having made the order that was placed over 30 minutes ago.
Online ordering is perpetually broken, and if you’re unfortunate enough to call, the staff usually operates from a secret menu that isn’t posted online or in their store.
On the remote chance that you’ve successfully placed an order, and that they’ve chosen to do something with the order you’ve placed, you still can’t count on them not selling to someone else. Yes, that’s right, I’ve been told (more than once!) that they sold my order to someone else.
I genuinely don’t understand how they’re still open.

My family and I love this place. By far the best crust in Milford… and the surrounding area. They also offer Gluten Free crust and Croissants. and now a Gluten Free Beer made in Michigan! By the way… not only the best pizza in Milford… they have pasta dishes, salads, wraps and other sandwiches. You really cannot go wrong with any choice you make. I highly recommend Fresco to everyone.

We have tried Fresco Pizza Café from time to time since they opened. My husband will no longer have any involvement in ordering or picking up because there is always an issue. The online ordering rarely works, and did not tonight. It had been 6 – 10 months since I last attempted to enjoy the pizza at Fresco as it is a frustrating experience. Tonight I arrived 5 minutes after my order was to be ready, paid, and the person at the counter went to get my order. No one returned for 12 minutes and then I was informed there was a large order in front of mine. The problem was I could see the back and watched them discuss they forgot to make one of my pizzas. The owner did refund my money, he was pleasant and apologetic, as he has been with their past errors. If you don’t value your time and are willing to deal with incompetent service the pizza is pretty decent, but not special enough for me to try again.

While on a business trip to Michigan I had the opportunity to dine at Fresco’s Pizza. Being a trained chef and having traveled to Naples, I can’t give them 5 stars! But I will say that they use high quality products and the pizza is very good. If you are looking for a nice family place to enjoy a quality pizza, I have no problem recommending Fresco’s Pizza. Great place to stop in for lunch or dinner. I really enjoy the variety of salads they offer. The pizza is delicious and I have always had great service. Have heard from many people that their dessert pizza is amazing, but I haven’t tried it yet. Next time! :-)

My four star review is strictly for the pizza only. I have not eaten any other offerings. I really love the thin crust pizza with peperoni and the yellow peppers. The sauce has a real nice flavor. The dining area is nothing special but that’s not why I go to Frescos. my favorite pizza in Milford.

When this place first opened it was pretty decent. Good portions, tasty salads/​sandwiches and fine value. Last few trips, the quality is starting degrade. Portions are shrinking and service cannot support the size of the lunch crowd. There is only one wait staff and one cook during lunch. So if there are few tables full of customers, be prepared to wait. On positive note, calzones are good and pizzas are decent. Not worth the wait though.

Food wasn´t bad — tried the Calzone. But be informed it is a 100% American spot (not the right pizza dough and tons of tomato sauce) — nothing Italian here. Service was good, but with a little bit of a — sorry to say that — Trailor Park feeling. It is ok to go here for a quick lunch. Mentioned that they have some decent beers here, but during lunch break I can´t drink. I would definitely come back for some more lunch — this place is better than Little Cesar´s or Jet´s. These are the kind of restaurants you have to compare Fresco with.

My husband frequently orders Chris’ Special pizza on nights when I’m not home for dinner and he loves it. We ordered the Mediterranean Special and had them add Italian sausage and it was unbelievably good. From the girl who answered the phone and took my order to the young man who delivered it, the employees were very friendly and efficient. The pizza we ordered had olive oil instead of sauce, feta cheese and vegetables on a fairly thin crust; it was hard to stop eating it! We are very happy with this business.

I really like Fresco Pizza Café. It has a nice mix of pizza kind of stuff (pizza, calzones, etc.) but also a good selection of fresh salads, sandwiches, and wraps. The wait is never too long and the staff is friendly. I appreciate all the vegetarian options like the baby spinach/​hummus/​feta/​tzatziki sauce wrap and the various salads like the Michigan Harvest Salad and southwest salad. My husband is a huge fan of the calzones. They have a seating area but you can also get takeout or have food delivered. Great for those times when someone wants pizza but others want something else. Would be good for kids!

The first time was perfection.
The second time was disappointing, then an attempted fix which also fell flat.
The third time I referred my grandparents and parents to this establishment who were in from out of town, «Try the Kensington, it’s so good!»… and not only did they mess up the orders, but the food was cold when it arrived and the only comp they provided… nothing.
I won’t order from here again.
