Been coming here since they’ve come to Milford. Awesome breakfast served all day. Love their pancakes and they have THEE best, thick cut bacon. It’s always cooked perfectly crispy without ever asking for it. Other favorites of my family’s are Sunday home style chicken, fried chicken strips, chef salad, sirloin steak with baked potato, and fruit cobblers. They have a grand, fieldstone fireplace and rocking chairs with checkers to play inside. They’re prices are so inexpensive and all the food tastes homemade. They also have an adorable country store that sells not only their food goods to take home, but lots of other unique finds from your favorite childhood candy, to toys and clothing, to Yankee candles, and charming housewares. Truly a must go experience!

As always, Cracker Barrel is my favorite. I frequent this location when I visit my parents in CT. We usually end up going on a Friday/Saturday evening and there is always a wait. We are always told around 30 – 45 minutes, but rarely wait 20 minutes to find a seat. My most recent trip(Saturday 11⁄8) we were told 25 minutes and we were seated in 10 minutes. I can’t pull myself to order anything different — country fried chicken with mac and cheese, sweet potato and hashbrown casserole. Yummm. Everything was cooked great, and we all received the biscuits and corn bread we requested(occasionally they will only bring one, or skimp and not bring any…) And they asked if I wanted dessert before giving me the check! Yay! That’s always my pet peeve with this place — they always bring me the check and I never get to order the delicious blackberry cobbler. Service is always on par here — never had a negative experience here. Only odd thing is its difficult to find if you’re not sure what you’re looking for. The driveway comes up the back side of the restaurant, and you pass by Dunkin Donuts so you might not know if you’re in the right spot. Like usual, I love Cracker Barrel, and this place is definitely one of my top places to frequent.
