Maureen’s place is fabulous! I have gotten my eyebrows done here for about a year now and I have zero complaints.
Prompt callbacks for scheduling appointments, relaxing environment, affordable, and great service. Maureen does an excellent job and plucks eyebrows by hand, no wax, which was a huge plus for me since I’ve literally been burned too many times.

Maureen is the queen of facials. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love her. I will never go anywhere else because it does not even compare.

If I give a 10 star rating, I would and I can only hope my review does justice to the service and facial treatment I received! The service from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. I originally saw a business card for Cheat the Clock Skin Care about a year ago if not longer. Of course, just never made it here until now. My boyfriend surprised me with a Groupon deal that included a facial, 10minute foot massage and glass of wine. I tried to schedule an appointment last month and left a message; Maureen returned my call in a timely fashion, but I was so busy with work I couldn’t return her call right away. Fortunately she had left a detailed message regarding hours and availability. The 2^nd time I called, I left a message and she returned my within 10 mins, I was able to schedule an appointment.
Upon arrival, Maureen gave me a very warm welcome and asked if I preferred white wine or champagne (after a long day of work, I couldn’t think of a better way to greet a first time customer). I went with the the white wine (I can’t remember the name, but it was very good). I sat down and reviewed the menu/​selection of facial treatments available per the Groupon. Maureen was very helpful and informative in helping me make a selection. I chose «Le Grand Classique» (Deep pore cleansing/​restoring facial). She lead the way to the back area and changing room, overall the ambiance is very peaceful and «beachy». I changed and laid down on the heated treatment table. She told me if I got too hot to let her know; I’m always cold so I figured that wouldn’t be the case… I also told her I’d probably fall asleep on her, and she said she wouldn’t take offense :)
Prior to jumping into the blackheads and whiteheads on my face, Maureen paused to ask to me if I’d be comfortable with extractions; even the extraction process (which is normally painful) was comfortable and soothing; the cleansing, steaming, hydrating and Maureen’s application technique far surpassed any facial treatment I’ve received in Fairfield County including Fairfield Plastic Surgery and Pia Lauren. I was in heaven; it was absolutely divine. I left floating on «cloud 9» and thinking of ways to ensure I fit monthly treatments into my schedule and budget! Thank you Maureen! Maureen is fabulous from start to finish! She made me feel very comfortable and calm. I would definitely recommend giving her an opportunity to show you how great she is. I had a facial and had my eyebrows done. Wow did she do a great job. I even purchased a gift certificate for my daughter. She is well worth the drive!

This is the best facial I’ve had in years! The spa is small, cozy, and comfortable. The woman who provides services is excellent at her job, and accommodating in every way possible. The facials are wonderful, my skin was like butter for 2 days! And don’t pass up on the foot massage, it’s to die for! I will go back again and again! Love it!!!

The owner is very patient and kind!!! I had a microdermabrasion with her and she made me feel so comfortable. She’s very knowledgable about skin and gave me awesome advice on clearing up my skin and also gave me a free sample of a french purifying concentrate that worked wonders on some skin discoloration spots I had been struggling with over a year and that thanks to her, I no longer have. I definitely recommend her!!!

Unilocal doesn’t lie when it comes to a 5 star business. I purchased a Groupon deal for $ 45 for a 60 minute European facial and a 10 minute foot massage (regular price $ 96 for both) after checking out the business on Unilocal and seeing the amazing reviews.
Maureen was extremely quick in returning my initial phone call and gave me several options to schedule my appointment, all within a two week period. She does have limited late hours, but works for herself and therefore is flexible with her scheduling.
The studio is a large one room space, divided into different areas… waiting area, reception desk, facial area, changing room, etc. It is a calm space with lots of beach themed décor.
After changing into a strapless wrap/​top, Maureen first did the facial which was really great… I have only had a few facials in my life, but this was one of the better ones. I was very relaxed and calm, even while we chatted during the first half of the services. Once she moved on the foot massage towards the end of the services, I was definitely in a zone of total relaxation. So much so, that I drifted off to sleep for a few minutes before realizing she was almost finished. I had a hard time sitting up and getting off the table and back to reality at that point.
I was impressed with not only her skills as an esthetician, but her friendly nature as a person and as a professional. She offers an array of services including facials, nail care, waxing, and Reiki. I would definitely return and pay full price for her services and plan to do so in the near future.

I’ve been to Maureen a few times now and walk out happy each time. She remembers who you are and what is going on in your life. It’s a very professional and personal experience at the same time. I don’t get to go as often as I’d like, but when I can, I call Maureen.

I had a facial with Maureen the other day and left looking and feeling great. I have been to many practitioners in the past, but I have stuck with her in Milford for a few years now, because she is «that good.» The defining difference in her practice is that the quality of her work is so good that it’s just natural for her to do it. It never feels like it is work for her. Her movements are natural and smooth and the techniques she uses — she applies them with expertise and confidence, as natural as breathing. I have had a few of the facials on the menu, and she has adapted them to suit my needs so well, that I feel like she really knows her stuff! As a healing arts/​Chinese medicine practitioner, I recommend her work to my patients all the time. I find that it is not only about beauty, but about healing. Her gentle manner and good humor can put anyone at ease, and the environment is so peaceful and tranquil. Her products are super high quality, I love them. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything she uses, and will tell you as she goes along. I am always amazed at the prices. she goes above and beyond what you are paying for. If you want to look amazing, feel great and come away with some knowledge of how to better care for your skin, try Maureen’s work. You will be delighted.

Maureen is amazing and the best! I have had many facials over the years and no one can come close to Maureen. She is meticulous and my skin now looks awesome. I had a facial today. It was great. Just what I needed after a stressful day at work. I highly recommend. Maureen is very nice and professional. I also have had waxing done at a previous visit. I scheduled my next appointment. I will be a regular customer.

Just got back from Cheat the clock skin care. This was the best facial I have ever had.

I completely agree with what other Unilocalers have preached about Maureen. She is worth driving over an hour to. Meticulous, personalized, doesn’t try to sell you anything, is simply amazing. I’ll be seeing her again next season.

I came to Maureen about 2 months ago for my first facial. It was awesome and not painful at all. My skin never looked better! I used a living social deal, and it was a great price. For the time she dedicates to you, the facial is definitely worth the standard $ 75.

Maureen at Cheat the Clock Skincare is amazing! I have been to her for various services, all amazing, but most recently I went in for my pre-​wedding facial! I am getting married this Saturday and she has made my skin glow like I have never seen before! I am getting so many compliments and I haven’t had to wear any make up! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my skin… I am very picky when it comes to putting things on my face but Maureen made sure she knew my skin type and catered the treatment to what I needed.
To top off the fact that my skin looks and feels amazing, the experience was amazing as well! She makes the environment so peaceful and relaxing and is great to talk to!

I’ve had facials in San Francisco, Boston and… Milford! Probably the best facial ever. First of all, the space is cozy and adorable. Maureen is so warm and welcoming (even though she claimed she was having a «blah» day). I got the «Le Grand Classique; 1 ½ hours of pure bliss. It included a ten minute foot massage and a back rub with hot stones.
I agree with Tricia Z above; this is not a cookie-​cutter spa experience. It’s personalized one-​on-​one treatment. You will never be just a number or get lost in the shuffle at this wonderful establishment. And the prices are very reasonable.
PS: When you’re done stop in the store at the front of the building. Cute, inexpensive jewelry, candles, clothing, etc. A real find!

Radiant… that’s what my skin looks like today. Besides being exceptionally pleased with the results from my visit to Cheat The Clock Skin Care, Maureen is amazing! She took her time (2.5 hours) and gave me a fantastic spa experience. I plan on being a regular of Cheat The Clock Skin Care from today forward.

While searching for Yonka Skin care products, I found Maureen at Cheat the Clock. What a find! Her facials are marvelous. I have hyper pigmentation and occasional breakouts. The treatment she gave me made my skin glow for days. She is meticulous and dedicated to making you look your best. There is no shortage of spas in Greenwich and NYC but I prefer driving to Milford because the service and one on one attention is a rarity these days.
