In brief, my wife returned to the same store, got the topper and went straight to the customer service counter where she received the discount I had expected. Should have gone that way on the first go-round, but the company did write me an apology.

It’s everything you could really want in a BBB. It’s clean, there is plenty of parking, the lines are never long, and the employees are helpful. It has your standard fare for a BBB, so basically everything. But here’s the catch that got this place four stars. The one thing I REALLY like about this place is they added a cool food market to this location. It features various international foods, brands you normally can’t find anywhere else or have to find a specialty store that carries it. I’d been searching everywhere for Hawaiian Sun juice and it turned up at this store! If you stroll around on an empty stomach then beware, there are lots of tasty treats that will catch your eye, check it out.

I would give less stars but most experiences in this store prior to my most recent were fine. I stopped by this store to pick up a couple of items. When i went to check out I had two choices — an open register with one customer in line(with a fairly well loaded cart) and the customer service desk which was in the process of ringing up a sale of a single item. I choose the customer service line. Several minutes passed and people started to line up behind me and also on the register line. Several more minutes passed and one of the employees paged an additional cashier to the front. All of this was fine with me – I had no problem waiting my turn. When the cashier activated his station he called for the next customer in line. I walked over and put my items on the counter. He looked up and said that I wasn’t the next customer and that I should go to the back of the line — which was incorrect. OK – no big deal. I explained that I had been waiting on the customer service line before anyone else on line — when suddenly the employee working the customer service desk woke up and yelled«He doesn’t know what he’s talking about! He was never on line!!» I couldn’t believe the ridiculousness of this situation — this guy was starting to come around the counter like he was going to get in my face because: 1) he somehow didn’t see me standing next in line at his register for ten minutes; or 2) he wanted to see other people get served before me; or 3) he just didn’t like me. Rather than turn this into some kind of brawl I walked out of the store — trying to figure out what I did wrong. I don’t think that I will return anytime in the near future.

what is wrong with me. 4 stars for a BBB. yah. it is a pretty nice one, so i guess if you are ocd about bbb this is one to c. first time i have seen a grocery dept in a bed bath, lots of pretty interesting items too — international flavor, hello kitty hot chocolate, stone brewing hot sauces, etc.

So, I don’t typically review establishments like this because a store is a store and they probably aren’t going to change anything because I give it 1 star on Unilocal.BUT, I just had to give props for my most recent experience. I am about 6 weeks out from surgery and am still on crutches. I went into BB&B by myself to get one item and when I walked in I didn’t know where to start. The store is fine when I can walk and maneuver at my own pace, but like this I want to get in and get out. Fast. As I walked in, there was a gentleman right inside the door… my guess was a Manager but I’m not 100% on that. He asked if I needed help finding something and even joked around he’s push me in the wheelchair. I appreciate that. I told him exactly what I wanted(see, women can go in for just one thing and not have to touch every item)! He took me a few aisles down and right to the item… after showing me a few I said that’s the one I want and he grabbed it for me and asked if there was anything else. There wasn’t, so he walked me back to the checkout, carrying my item for me, and took me right to Customer Service and had the girl check me out. He wanted to get me in and out so I didn’t have to stand too long. This was one of the THE nicest gestures I have encountered at a store like this and he wasn’t doing it because he HAD to, he genuinely wanted to help me. It was a great experience(since that store is HUGE and walking around on crutches is not my idea of a fun trip). He made the trip worth it and I plan to go back because of it… as opposed to other BB&B or other similar store. Thank you sir!

This is the best BB&B I have ever been to. It’s absolutely enormous. You can’t go here without finding something that you need or want(which in my case, is usually the wants…). The bridal/fine dining section has a huge selection, which they usually don’t even have at the smaller stores. Now they are even selling drug store items like shampoos, soaps, OTC drugs, toothpaste, etc. They also have the largest supply of travel sized toiletry items you will ever see in your life. Last time I went, the sales associate mentioned that they have complimentary gift wrapping but I’m not sure where it is in the store. And don’t forget to use the 20% off coupons! They never expire.

If you’ve been to one BB&B you’ve been to them all. They are laid out in pretty much the same fashion. The store is one giant racetrack with«rooms» to get lost in. You want shower curtains? Well, here they have a bajillion. Towels? the selection can be overwhelming. Whozamajigs for the kitchen? There’s an entire wall. You want Yankee Candles? Just watch out for the broken jars caused by people who are too stupid to read the«don’t pick up by the lid» signs. You want a drug store? Wait, what? Seriously, they sell hairspray, vitamins, feminine hygiene products, and other assorted things in this store. I have never seen anything like it in a BB&B. I’m wondering if this has anything to do with their purchase of Christmas Tree Shops(?) as they seem to be similar to their drug store aisles. Anywho, this is a great spot to come if you need sheets, towels, or hairspray(beyond?) and who doesn’t have 23823574985672 of those 20% off coupons? BTW the coupons don’t expire even though they say they do. –1 star because of the shards of broken Yankee Candles.
