G-Mama Wings

I’ve only been here once. I ordered the mild wings. The sauce had a good flavor, but the mild had no heat at all. I would get at least the medium next time, I like a little heat but I don’t want my mouth scorched and to break out in a sweat from it. I always start on the low-​end of the heat scale when I try new places because you never know how «hot» their hot is.
About half the wings were burnt and dried out, which was disappointing. I feel like if you are going to have a limited menu and only serve one main item then that main item should be made exceptional EVERY time.
I got the combo which came with fries, a slice of white bread (which I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do with), a cup of ranch dressing (I would have preferred the traditional bleu cheese, but it wasn’t an option) and a can of strawberry pop. They only sell Diet Coke, or flavored pop, no Coke or Pepsi, which I found odd.
It’s carry-​out only. Their counter area is odd to say the least. They are behind (I’m assuming) bullet-​proof glass with a little cut-​out window with a lazy-​susan in it that they send the food out in. I’m not sure why the need for the high security, but whatever. I’m wondering if it was that way when they moved in, it looks like it could have been an old check cashing place or something, but I can’t remember what was there before. I think they could have taken that window out though, it’s a little off-​putting.
