Body Logic Dance Academy is a non competitive studio. We have small class sizes, and work hard to keep all expenses low, so every child can have the opportunity to dance. We believe in creating a space where each student can find and develop their own voice as an individual and an artist.

Body Logic Dance provides students and parents a positive and safe atmosphere under the direction of professionally trained staff, who are goal oriented and driven to create successful dancers and individuals. Today’s dancer benefits in receiving adequate and proper training and education to achieve their dreams of dancing professionally. Our goal at Body Logic Dance is to train students of all ages and levels physically, mentally, and emotionally for a smoother transition into the professional realm of dance as an art form. Body Logic Dance Academy is affiliated with the professional dance artists of Body Logic Dance Company.

History

Established in 2009.

Body Logic Dance Academy is managed and operated by Serena Webb and Melanie Ewell Francom. Serena and Melanie met in 2007 through Utah Valley University’s BFA Modern Dance Program, only to reunite years later in the beginnings of Body Logic Dance Company. Body Logic Dance company has been under the professional direction of Serena since 2012 and in 2014 Melanie became Body Logic’s Assistant Artistic Director. Through their work with BLDC Serena and Melanie began to share their dreams with each other of running an educational dance program in their own studio. Through hard work and dedication they continue to share their love of dance with their students and colleagues at Body Logic Dance Academy.
