Horrible from the customer service to the cleaning job. I could have done what they did and better which defeats the purpose of hiring them! WORST!!!

STAYAWAY!!! Booked a cleaning using a LivingSocial voucher. We have been looking for a regular cleaning service so we thought this would be a good opportunity to try out some different companies. Even at a discount, this service was not worth it. Prior to the arrival of the maids, we provided detailed instructions to the owner on where the key would be located, where to park, etc. Despite this, she failed to forward the email and simply told her employees that we left a key. My wife had to excuse herself from surgery to direct the maids on where to find the key. The cleaning that followed was abysmal. We have a small 1000 sq. ft apartment. Despite this, the floor was not properly cleaned, blinds weren’t dusted, leaves were left in front of the fireplace mantle and numerous other deficiencies were present. When we contacted the owner, Jennifer, to inquire about both of these issues, she completely ignored the concern about the level of cleaning and stated she did not receive our email. When we forwarded her a copy of the email and again asked about the level of cleaning, she did not respond. Its obvious this company does not mind ripping people off. UPDATE: Owner finally responded to second email. Instead of trying to address the problem, she merely stated they did what they could and then essentially insulted the cleanliness of the house. It’s obvious this owner cares very little about her customers.

I just had the worst experience with these cleaners using their Amazon local deal. I paid $ 75 for three hours of cleaning or 2 cleaners for an hour and a half, a supposed $ 170 value. Here is what they cleaned in that time: Stairs vacuumed 2 large and 2 small bedrooms vacuumed and the small landing Master bathroom cleaned Kitchen counters, microwave and sink wiped down, though not well Here is what they skipped: Everything else in the four bedrooms besides the vacuuming No evidence of cleaning in living room or play room, which I asked them to focus on No evidence of cleaning in office or dining room Kitchen table and chairs which were dirty from daily eating not wiped down Other furniture and surfaces in kitchen not wiped down Hardwood floors looked untouched 2 out of 3 bathrooms were untouched We’ve had a monthly cleaner for the past 4 years, who we recently stopped using, and they did everything that they skipped above plus more in the same time allotted for these cleaners. Our previous cleaner just cleaned our house in mid-February so it’s not like our house needed a deep clean either. However, when I contacted A Cleaning Maid in Heaven with my dissatisfaction, all I was told was that was as much as two cleaners could get done in an hour in a half. There was no concern or apology offered. I was expecting a full house cleaning and feel cheated! Even at $ 75 I feel like I definitely overpaid for what I received. I can’t imagine anyone thinking they could get away with charging $ 170 for that amount of cleaning. I would never recommend these cleaners, and I can’t see them staying business for very long if this is the type of service they offer.

I had my house cleaned by this company on Friday. The owner was very prompt in scheduling me and her team did a good job. However, we had some communication problems throughout the process: 1. I had gotten a quote from this company back in Sept based on a referral from a friend. I decided to hold off on the cleaning, and then last week I saw a Living Social deal for a $ 79 clean by the company and I decided to buy it. Once I contacted them, they told me they weren’t scheduling the cleanings from that deal until the end of the month… I needed it sooner, so they recommended I cancel my deal with Living Social and pay them directly(At the same rate), and they’d fit me in sooner. I was very happy that they were so fair about this since it was not listed in the fine print that there would be a one-month lag between buying the coupon and getting the cleaning. 2. This was the first time I used this company, and I wasn’t there when they came to clean. The owner assured me that was ok, but I should have known better since we are moving and there are some random piles of stuff throughout the house that would make even a normally calm cleaning lady very nervous. I didn’t expect them to clean them or anything(and they didn’t), but I should have been there to explain it all. 3. My house is in need of a serious deep clean. Its a 1400 sq foot bungalow house that I share with my two furry dogs, sister(And sometimes her boyfriend), husband and 11 month old daughter. I’m not a cleaner by nature(though I vacuum 5x a week since my kid is crawling and I’d rather her not be eating doghair while she’s doing it), so after a while it gets pretty dirty in here… I know it needs a deep clean but I don’t want to shell out mucho bucks until I find a company that will do a good job. So I thought I’d try this company out and get a regular cleaning. I knew they wouldn’t be doing windows, walls, baseboards, etc. but I figured I’d see how they did and if I liked them we’d do a deep clean when we put our house on the market. The owner never asked me anything about the condition of my house when she scheduled my cleaning. It didn’t say in the Living Social deal that this was a maintenance clean, it didn’t define what type of clean it was, it just specified which rooms would be cleaned– living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms. And that’s great for me, because that is basically all there is to my house! However, after the cleaning I noticed that some things in the kitchen weren’t cleaned– the kitchen cart where our dishes are, the top of the toaster oven, the ceiling fan. I emailed the owner to ask if those were items that were part of a deep clean and she told me that she verified that all the surfaces in the kitchen were wiped down, and that the cleaning of my house took extra time because it was more than her team expected. Since she never asked me anything about my house, I wasn’t sure what they were expecting, so I asked her to clarify. And she told me that a house in this condition required a deep clean that would cost $ 250, so her team did the best they could in the time they had allotted for the cleaning. Now, I get it. They scheduled us for a maintenance cleaning, showed up and saw we needed a deep cleaning, and they tried to do some extra wherever they could, but they couldn’t get it all and got pressed for time, and in the process they forgot about some of the basic surfaces in the kitchen. I wish they would have called me(I gave them my cell phone number and told them to call if they needed anything) and talked about this before they cleaned the house– I would have definitely been able to clarify my expectations, assure them that I didn’t expect a deep cleaning, etc. Overall, I was happy with the cleaning. What I wasn’t happy with was the owners tone. Not only did she deny that her team missed some surfaces(I have pictures to prove that they did), but she then tried to make me feel small, as if I’m inferior for asking her and her team of super special house cleaners to clean a dirty house. It was an email exchange that I’m happy to share with anyone who is interested(just message me through Unilocal and I’ll provide the whole thing, nothing held back) and it made me feel just terrible. Like she was judging me and my unclean house. I didn’t tell her I had a clean house that just needed to be wiped down, so I’m sorry if that’s what she scheduled me for. Please know that I have held off writing this review for several days until I felt that I could write a fair and honest assessment. I was so angry after this email exchange with her that I wanted to give her one star for being a judgmental mean person, but that’s not fair since her team did do a good job and the pricing was more than fair. Nevertheless, I will never recommend this cleaning service to anyone, because I don’t think you should pay for people to judge you and make you feel bad in your own home. The end.
