Absolutely nothing unique about it. My husband brought me a late lunch at work last Friday. He said he got there around 2:15 and the sign in the window said they were open until 3:30. They apparently treated him very poorly and rushed him on making an order. They had minimal menu selections, so he finally decided on a turkey croissant and soup, which was supposed to come with fruit. The croissant was lower quality than a pre-made grocery store sandwich and the soup only filled about 25% if an 8 – 10 oz container. Also, there was NO fruit. When I saw he had paid over $ 13 for a old sandwich and 3 bites of soup, I felt ashamed for the owners. Never going back!

Incredibly disappointing. I got the turkey burger which came dry. When I asked for mayo and mustard(which took several minutes to get their attention), I was given enough for about 3 bites. It was a mediocre turkey burger at best otherwise. Husband got the turkey panini, which was not half as good as I make myself at home. One slice of turkey with one red pepper. Sad. The tomato basil soup was bland. We ordered a brownie after the meal because I was still hungry. It was from a boxed brownie mix that was so dry it had to have been made close to a week ago. Most of it was inedible it was so hard. Seriously, not even the ‘deluxe’ boxed brownie mix. I heard it was much better under other ownership. Will not return unless I hear of major changes.

The last two times we have been there the service was terrible. They forgot to bring me coffee. We never got any refills. The food was ok. The staff seemed uninterested in being there. Won’t be back for awhile, maybe it will improve. Pretty doubtful I will.

I have tried this place several times over the past two years. The food is average and the tomato basil soup was served to me today tepid in temperature. I had to get my own silverware. Their espresso machine has been out of commission for several months. On a previous visit the waiter walked around me for 30 minutes and did not once stop at my table. It is very overpriced for the quality of food and the atmosphere.

Harvest Café was fantastic for years, but recently they closed for renovations and new management– it’s just not the same any more: they no longer have a panini press bc «it’s too expensive to fix» and they no longer carry half the menu items… to top it off we ordered food for a business luncheon and we found hair in THREE different meals: the chips, the sandwich and the fruit. That is completely unacceptable. I will never go again, nor will I recommend this restaurant to a single person. Maybe in time they’ll become what they once were– I wish them the best of luck in doing so.

I was told of this hidden gem. From an old couple at a restaurant. I kept putting it off. It was not in the direction of my routine on the weekends. But finally went by. I was missing out for months. Could not believe this place. Service was great my omelette could not get any better. It was fluffy and the cheese melting away. The tomatoes and mushrooms were a great size and portion. Everything in my omelette was cooked perfect. Nothing over cooked. My home fries were excellent. I felt my mouth enjoying every bite. I recommend this place to every one. The only flaw I see this place having. Is that it sits back a bit off the street. That if you weren’t looking for it you wouldn’t see it. But for a quiet place for breakfast

Eh, anywhere but midland, this place would only rate 2 stars. Got the Caesar with blackened chicken. Well, the lettuce was very fresh. The chicken was definitely NOT blackened, more like a french provincial herb mix, and overlooked. Croutons and dressing probably bought from restaurant supply. Dressing oily, not creamy like it should be. Husband had three cheese panini with fruit. Fruit very fresh. He said sandwich was nothing special. Little old ladies who work here seem a bit lost. If don’t expect much, you won’t be disappointed.

The food is pretty good, and comes out in a timely manner, as long as you don’t go right in the middle of lunch hour. The service is really bad. The last couple of times I was there, there were actually 2 – 3 employees behind the counter, just shooting the breeze. No one ever came to even refill my drink. Had to get up multiple times and go to them just to get a refill. Also, food is rather pricey considering the portion size you get(on the small side compared to most places).

I came back to the Harvest Caffe to get some lunch recently. They changed the ordering setup… years ago, you ordered at the counter. Then at one time they got waiter service. Now it is back to ordering/paying at the counter and they bring the food to you when ready which is the way I would prefer. I got the Harvest Club sandwich as I have in the past and some French Onion soup. The soup was not bad but not as rich-tasting or hot as it should be. It had the traditional cheese on top but the dish almost tasted and looked like it had been microwaved to heat it and not put under a broiler to melt and brown the cheese as it should be. That’s my only complaint… the food came out fast and sandwich was very good. Iced tea refills are serve yourself from pitchers at the counter. Also, I got a blueberry scone with cream and it was very good.

Tucked in the back of a shopping center, Harvest Caffe serves coffee, baked goods, and even some hot items, like omelettes, quiches, and paninis. The kitchen is small, though, and the main area looks like a long and capacious coffee shop with an appropriately suburban gas log fireplace at the far end. We kept things easy and economical by going with a pair of coffees and their fall-apart-fresh blueberry muffins.

This place is so friendly, cozy and a great place to relax with a yummy Gingerbread Latte next to a cozy fire with some great Christmas music on

Solid food, but nothing super special. We had lunch here. Chicken panini was ok, not very seasoned. The BLT was better. The winners were the very creamy chicken enchilada soup with a nice kick, and the homeade brownie with coconut icing was moist and gooey. $ 28.00 total with ice teas. Worth a shot. Good selection of homeade desserts though…

Come early … Good breakfast, good coffee, … Potential to be great. Country breakfast is good, but ask for gravy on the side unless you really like it on everything

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday. The place it self has a really cool relaxed feel. Reminds me of a West L. A Caffè. The food was good, I ordered the country omelet the egg was over cooked for my taste. Both my parents got the egg, ham, bacon and, cheese panini, they loved it. Coffee was great and so was their banana nut muffin. I will definitely come back.

Move along folks… nothing to see here. The Harvest Caffe has died from old age and neglect. The old lady licensed vocational nurses moonlighting as waitresses have finally killed the patient. If you go and find that you need silverware or napkins, just get up and find them yourself. The LVNS act like you asked them to scrub the floor. I feel sorry for the young lady that works the counter at lunch. She’s sweet and personable and tries hard. Surely she will find a better job when this place closes.

Came here around 11:30 am for lunch. Ordered the Green Chili Cheese Burger w/chips. One of the best burgers I’ve had! The bun is very tasty. The owner took our order — he was even so nice to offer a free dessert plate since it was our first time to the restaurant! Free wifi as well! Customer service was excellent. Burger came out in 10 minutes. As a side note, the restaurant may be a little hard to find if you’re a first timer… it’s in between two stores in the shopping center.(can’t remember which ones.)

Great place for a light breakfast– had an excellent egg white omelet with chorizo. Not too greasy, not too heavy. There are so few places where you can eat«healthy» in Midland, and I was psyched to find this one. Friendly staff, and tasty coffees(though takes quite a while to get your coffee order).

Good food, kind service, local fun! I shared a tasty breakfast at Harvest Caffe in Midland earlier this week. My Southwest Omelet was tasty, but a little on the dry side. My friend had their oatmeal and really enjoyed it. The service was a bit slow, but the servers themselves were friendly, helpful & competent. I’d recommend going here when you have time for a longer breakfast. In spite of this comment, I did see a number of business meetings going on while we were there. Also, they have an AMAZING selection of pastries … though I didn’t eat one for breakfast(perhaps a mistake on my part!), I

Inside of café is clean and packed during lunch. Service is friendly, but it was slow to get our food. Food is nothing great. I had a Turkey Wrap, maybe I need to try something else.
