Specialties
Our highly skilled staff at the Hand Treatment Center is committed
to your well-being. We treat our patients as we would treat our own family members. The Hand Treatment Center offers specialized medical care. We believe that hand and upper extremity problems, no matter how simple or complex, should be treated by the most qualified professional: a hand surgeon.
In addition to performing the Brown Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release Procedure, we treat all types of hand and upper extremity problems. This includes injuries, deformities, fractures, Dupuytren’s contracture, tennis elbow, arthritic problems requiring joint replacement, congenital birth deformities and many others.
History
Established in 1995.
Dr. Woloszyn is an expert in the quick healing, minimally invasive, endoscopic treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome (Brown Procedure). Dr. Michael Brown developed the endoscopic carpal tunnel release procedure in 1991 as an alternative to the «open» release procedure, which resulted in extensive post-operative wounds and scarring and a lengthy healing process. Dr. Woloszyn trained with Dr. Brown in 1992 and together they have traveled all over the country teaching other surgeons this particular procedure. Dr Woloszyn has successfully performed thousands of endoscopic carpal tunnel releases over the past 20 years, helping people to recover quickly while delivering the highest quality of care with compassion and respect.
