Owner Denise Willinger is an esthetician and massage therapist with more than 30 years of experience. She has created an enticing, private environment where you can receive spa services without the hustle and bustle of a large impersonal salon. Her goal is to give you the highest quality spa services in an intimate setting to help you find serenity.

Our wonderful, friendly staff is devoted to making your visit the best experience possible. Whether you want to share a spa experience with a few close friends or just need a manicure or a good facial, we will customize your treatments to fit your needs and your budget.

We uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and excellent customer service We are also members of the Better Business Bureau (Finalist in the Very Small Business Category in the prestigious BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in the workplace) Winner Best Day Spa, 2012, 2013, Louisville A list.

History

Established in 2003.

Serenity began in 2003 as Serenity Skin Care, Inc. Denise Wilinger, Owner started in the charming building in historic Anchorage as a solo practioner offering Massage and Skin Care. Through the years and with the help of an amazing staff, Serenity has developed in to a thriving Day Spa with 9 employees offering massage, facials, nail services and body treatments 6 days a week.

We recently purchased a Victorian building in Historic Middletown and have renovated it to be just as charming as our original location.

We can now offer couples services, blowouts, and can service larger groups for spa parties at our new location!

We have earned the prestigious designation as «Best Day Spa», voted by our customers at Louisville City Voters A list for 2012, 2013, and 2014, BBB Torch Awards for Ethics in the workplace, plus, we were elected a Finalist for Best Spa Services in Louisville Magazine «Best of Louisville» July 2011and 2013 issues! Todays Woman has featured Serenity as well.

Denise Willinger is a massage therapist, esthetician and spa owner with over 30 years experience in the salon/​spa industry. She lives and works in the Louisville, Kentucky area. She is married, with 2 children, a dog and thousands of clients who depend on her knowledge, expertise and incredible hands to help them find beauty and serenity in their lives!
