Sensible Home Design is a locally owned and operated Home Planning and Design company. Sensible Home Design has been serving the Greater Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio community since 1996.

Sensible Home Design is not limited to this area. We are currently working on projects in Kentucky and Tennessee and have done projects as far away as South Dakota. History

Established in 1996.

Sensible Home Design is primarily a Custom Home Design firm. Custom Homes are our business and it is what we do best.

We have a book of plans from houses that have been built in the past. We can work with you on one of these plans to create your own customized design, or you can use it as it is. The plan book can be viewed in our office by appointment.

We prefer to take your ideas of your perfect house and make it your own. Our expert designers will work with you to make your dreams become reality. With our expertize and your Ideas we will take all of the ideas that you have and put it on paper.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Award winning designer, Ron Globke, has been working in the building industry since 1985, He started out as a carpenter in the early years and built many homes with his hands. After a short stint in the Army (4 years), he put his knowledge of building to work with Fullerton Building Systems in Worthington, Minnesota. At Fullerton Building Systems, he was part of the design team that designed and built fast food restaurants (Taco Bell, Wendys, Burger King, and Steak and Shake) and hotels (Fairfield Inn, Days Inn, Comfort Suites) accross the country. After moving to Cincinnati with his family in 1996, Ron worked in a Truss Manufacturing Facility (Western Building Products). His experience in roof design is far greater then most in the home design industry.
