Novel Approaches Solar Applications, LLC was formed in 2008 to help nurture the development of solar technology in the Hudson Valley/​Tri-​State Area.

Meet the Business Owner

Howard A.

Business Owner

Howard Aschoff is a Licensed NABCEP solar installer and is listed on both the NYSERDA and NABCEP websites. He also holds a Master Electrical License in Orange County NY, and is a member of the American Solar Energy Society. In addition he proctors PV training classes at SUNY Orange and SUNY Rockland Community Colleges and is eligible for Master Trainer Certification.

Howard was formerly a Senior Research Scientist for Honeywell’s Laser R&D program. In the eighteen years with Honeywell he was credited with three technical conference papers, one patent and five patents reduced to practice.
