We moved from a 2000+ sqft apartment in Florida to a 589 sqft cottage here in Middletown and needed some space to store our extra stuff. Middletown Self Storage was there to take care of us! They recommended a unit that was perfect for our needs, and even offered us a 10% military discount.
Their customer service was outstanding, their AutoPay was convenient, and their hours made it easy to access our stuff in a climate-​controlled building. If you ever need a place to store your stuff in the Newport area — check here first!

The customer service here is impeccable!!!
I started with them a year ago, when I got VERY short-​fused orders overseas, and needed to stow some household goods ASAP. Jamie was my girl then, and — even though they had zero space at the time! — worked it out where I could get a room right in the nick of time. Super, super friendly and helpful.
Fast forward a year later, when I AGAIN (!) have to pick up my stuff and jet without notice. With so much going on – and moving out after hours — I forgot to leave notice that I’d vacated the unit. Not only did Katrin notice in no time (meaning they do regular walk-​throughs of the space), but she also refunded the automatic allotment that had taken place. All without hesitation, or an eye to squeeze me on the way out. (Which, unfortunately, I’ve had happen at other storage places over the years.)
TREMENDOUS customer service here. Add on top of that some clean and modern facilities, and extremely reasonable prices, and I PROMISE you won’t find a better place to stow your stuff.

I had to rent a truck from out of town to come up and help move my mom. We wanted a 14 or 17 foot truck but they didn’t have any avail for a one way so they gave us a 20 foot truck at no additional charge.
Customer service was impeccable at this location. 1000 times better than most places I’ve rented trucks from. The prices were very reasonable and the staff really seemed to make sure we had exactly what we needed.

Newport, RI
I rented a UHaul from here. I needed it for a couple days and Jamie was extremely helpful in arranging a schedule and price that worked for me. She went out of her way to work it out while being friendly and professional. I would recommend this UHaul company to anyone any day!!!
(Don’t go to the Newport UHaul. The guy there was rude, abrupt and completely unhelpful!!)

i rent 2 units and just want to compliment business when they deserve it and this business certainly does.
i was prompted to write this update, because someone asked me if i was a plant, and i am not.
as i told the owner the facilities and the people employed there are AAA1.
i congratulated the owners for a first class operation. most units are climate controlled.
