What else is there to say, it’s heathy ice cream! Ok, there’s no such thing, but if you want something cold that tastes great, this is the place to get it. And if you really want, they have all the yummy toppings you would put on that ice cream — except Spanish peanuts, which I need for my Tin Roof Sundae.

Delicious, thick and creamy frozen yogurt. The place is wonderful, clean and bright. Staff is great and I have been there on many occasions and each time I go in they are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s just a fun place to take your kids or go with the date.

I like going to Froyoworld because it’s got treats for the kids (one of the topping options is Lucky Charms marshmallows) and healthy yogurt with fruit for me. Sitting at an ice cream parlor watching my family eat full fat ice cream while I have nothing is no fun. While it’s certainly more expensive than a McDonald’s ice cream cone, the quality is much better. It’s one of the few places in town to eat that both the kids and the adults love equally.

In my opinion, this place is a bit overpriced for what you get. We certainly did not go crazy with filling up the cup, in fact, I was asked ‘Is that it? That’s all you want?’ I’m sure if you come with a whole family, you may regret heading over to the register to pay!
I went for a mix of the dutch chocolate and a bit of the blueberry cheesecake. Both were tasty, but nothing remarkable.
It’s a bright, cheery place, with seats over looking Main Street. Music was annoying and loud.

My gf, brother and sister-​in-​law, and I stopped into Froyoworld for a post-​dinner treat, and were very happy that we did!
I’m no stranger to froyo, so I expected this location to be another mold in the cookie-​cutter fad of froyo shops. I can’t say that I was disappointed by this, really. It’s good to have a local froyo shop so you don’t necessarily need to go a few town away to have it.
Upon entering Froyoworld, I noticed that it was very clean, and definitely on par with the others I had been to and liked. Although it was well lit, it wasn’t overkill. Unfortunately there was only one size container, but that was fine since my gf and I were going to share one anyways.
They had quite a few flavors, but we didn’t have any problem picking out our choice for the evening… We had a blend of toasted marshmallow and graham cracker froyo with some chocolate in addition to it. Nothing beats a frozen s’more!!!
They had a good assortment of toppings and add-​ins, and the self-​serve area was very well maintained.
All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this shop to others!

I just had myself a frozen s’mores! I tried a blend of toasted marshmallow and graham cracker with a dash of chocolate yogurt and it turned out to be just what I needed! The one thing I would warn is that the machines here are a bit quick to dole out the yogurt — quicker than most other placed I’ve been to — it was hard to get a small amount. The toppings were plentiful and tasty as well. I would highly recommend stopping in for desert.

What’s not to love about this place?
My fave so far: pumpkin pie froyo with graham cracker dust and sliced almonds. Too yummy. Just writing this makes me want to go and get some…

This place was really good and unique. I was skeptical of frozen yogurt not being as good as ice cream but they were really good. Changed my mind.
I did wish I knew more about then before going in, there is a lot going on in here. They have self serve machines with unique flavors. You can get samples if you ask. I tried chocolate pretzel caramel, great! Then the topping are to the right in the corner, I missed them the first time. Then you pay by weight, so be careful how much you load up. Overall tasty, unique and will definately will be back.

Went there for a couple of times and had vanilla, coffee, birthday cake, etc flavors. Very yummy. I love the fruity boba that you add to your froyo, unlike regular chewy boba, they pop in your mouth and i love the feeling of the popping them.

After dinner at Fiore 2 restaurant on Main Street Middletown (which was excellent) we were walking to our car and came upon this frozen yogurt store called Froyoworld. What a wonderful discovery. You help yourself to an assortment of various delicious flavors of frozen yogurt and then you move to a vast assortment of toppings all better than the next. If you looking for a bit of adventure and fun making your own desert than find your closest Froyoworld and go for it.

The froyo itself is great. I am partial to the original, as it is both slightly tart, sweet, and very creamy. Reminds of French-​style yogurt, except extruded. The price of 49 cents/​oz is a little steep, which explains why I’ve not gone in such a long time, but when summer hits, I’m sure to be a regular again.
Oh, and … I have to reveal my shameful, dark secret: I actually come here for the popping boba. :)

Love the flavors. Nutter Butter is really great! Plus, you can load it up with fresh fruit! (That makes it all even more ok)

Pumpkin Pie with graham cracker, marshmallow & whipped cream was decadent & delicious!

Soft-​serve frozen yogurt never really went away — it lurked at the end of many premium ice cream counters — but it’s nice to see it taking center stage again. A stroll down the block the other night brought us to Froyoworld so I could see what’s new, and what’s old, in what’s come round again.
I’d already noted the wall of self-​serve dispensers, which, I have to admit, strike an odd nostalgic place in me. Many years ago, I used similar spigots to fill many disposable bowls in the cafeteria of the hospital where I worked. There the only question was, which of the three available flavors had they stocked the machine with that day?
Twenty-​five years later, there’s a wall full of flavors complete with a mixing handle for combining pairs. The paper cards have given way to video screens, and cappuccino was never one of the options. And then there’s the two counters of mix-​ins!
I used that centered handle to combine pumpkin pie with cappuccino, which was a great match. The bitter of the cappuccino brought out the pumpkin spice so well I wonder whether a little ground coffee shouldn’t be added to an actual pie. And then, among the mix-​ins, I found waffle cone pieces. That’s simply brilliant.
Even on an autumn evening with the chill starting to hang in the air, the place felt active and cheerful. I suspect that come the warm days of spring, there will be times it’s just plain packed. Look for me. I could well be there.

Yum, I love froyoworld! Definitely worth checking out.
The negatives: a bit pricey, but worth it

This is Middletown’s newest «must try» eatery. We went on a whim one evening in late August and have returned several times. The kids love it because they get to pick from so many different types of toppings (who cares about the froyo flavors!) — and they can pick 2, 3, or 10 types of toppings. It is a child’s dream, no doubt. It is 49 cents an ounce — which seems so reasonable, right? It is, but choose your toppings wisely because it’s easy to pile on the ounces with those sauces and heavier selections! This place will definitely be a staple for our family.

What can we say about Froyo World? The Middletown Dining Club came for the grand opening party, and we were first in line! Needless to say, if froyo is your thing, then this place has what you’re looking for! Although banana is conspicuously missing from the toppings bar, there are a plethora of other toppings and flavors including mochi and bubble tea bubbles. Also cereal toppings are an added bonus! The bright and cheery décor can bring a smile to anyone’s face, from ages 1 to 101. After loading up on several topping including chocolate sauce, pb sauce, and mochi, the calorie count is can rival its ice cream counterpart. Other than that, fun for the whole family.

Froyoworld is one of the many new self serve yogurt places popping up all over. I have had Froyoworld yogurt from the Hamden location before so we were familiar with their product. We also recently have visited a few Kiwispoons, Sweet Frog, TCBY, etc… somehow I seem to be eating a lot of frozen yogurt lately. 2012 seems to have been the summer of self serve Froyo in CT.
The Froyoworld Middletown location has only been open a few days so we have only been in once and I started simple with a vanilla/​chocolate combo — the texture was good, it was well frozen like it should be. refreshing on a hot summer night. the flavor though was almost non-​existent. I like nice strong flavors and it fell short.
.49 an ounce is a good deal for quality yogurt i just wish the flavors were a little stronger. since its so close to home we will definitely be back in to give it another try.

Froyoworld rocks!
This is the same franchise that recently opened up a store in New Haven. It is a frozen yogurt franchise based purely in New England.
The Middletown store is located where the Tibetan store used to be, and it popped up just this summer. I was extremely happy to see it after coming back to the area, but as a California snob (who considers herself to be a tart yogurt connoisseur), I must admit I was at first skeptical. A great tart froyo place… in Middletown, CT? Nooo… it can’t be.
But I was wrong. It CAN happen.
I tried Nutter Butter, Salted Caramel Pretzels, Cookies & Crème, and Coffee. I also tried what my friends were having – the original tart and chocolate. This was seriously one of the best froyo I had ever tasted. It puts some of the California chains (like Yogurtland, for example) TO SHAME. On top of that, the toppings are amazing! The fruit is totally fresh, they have my favorite – mochi and capt’n crunch, as well as Nutter Butter and chocolate covered pretzels (which I had on tonight’s froyo). The combo was heavenly.
The price is decent: .49/​oz. You can taste the flavors before you decide.
The 4 owners of this place are doing an awesome job, creating a very friendly atmosphere, too. I am going to continue to support this place, in rain or snow. Froyoworld, you just gained a fan.
(On another note, I love the cute mascot that looks like she has turd on her cheek and head. Yes, I’m Japanese.)
