EvaRuth’s Foods, Inc. is owned and operated by Eva Ruth Flynn, CEO. The mission of EvaRuth’s is to create delicious wheat-​free and gluten-​free desserts that are convenient to eat and capable of satisfying even the choosiest of customers.

In 1995 Ruth was added to the ever-​growing population of people diagnosed with celiac sprue disease. She experienced firsthand the difficulty of finding authentic tasting gluten-​free desserts. So combining her love for business with her love for cooking, Ruth dedicated herself to creating true-​tasting GF cookies, cakes, muffins, and brownies and the company from which they are sold. Prior to owning and operating EvaRuth’s, Ruth worked as the New England cardiovascular sales representative for GE Medical Systems.

Today at the farmers market, I bought a loaf of bread that looked good. To my surprise it was $ 12 and I was kinda like damn, thats a lot.
However, this loaf of Onion Dill wheat-​free, gluten free, soy free bread (I am not on any diet restriction by any means) is the BEST BREAD I EVER HAD.
I will probably buy it every time I visit the farmers market, so bomb.

WARNING! Do not eat their baked goods unless you plan to be addicted… No joking. Their pumpkin bread and glazed donuts are the most moist flavorful you will ever taste in your life… Had one small taste of a friend’s pumpkin bread at work and I was hooked… found myself at Eva Ruth’s Specialty Bakery the very next Saturday morning buying four loafs for myself & friends. Totally worth the almost hour trip from Providence, RI. Heed my warning folks…

I just started going here recently. I have had the Multigrain bread and pumpkin muffins. The location is convenient to my workplace, so it makes it easy to run in and get a quick meal. The staff has always been helpful with any questions I may have. If you have any food allergies this is the place to enjoy your sweets and not have the negative reactions that you may experience. I t has ample parking. It easy to get to, It’s on Aquidneck Ave behind another well know coffee house. It is a must try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I have a friend who is allergic to wheat so we went to EvaRuth’s to get some bread when she was in town. It was really good. The prices are high, but it can be really difficult to find good wheat-​free bread. The server was so nice and answered all of our questions.

Purchased the Eva Ruth’s Blueberry Corn Loaf at a local farmers market. Delicious!!! I ate the entire thing in 3 days and am excited to try other things. Wheat free, gluten free, dairy free and soy free. The Blueberry Corn Loaf was very moist and had great flavor. Alot of things I try that are absent of all those things lack taste. Not Eva Ruth’s!

EvaRuth’s has the BEST gluten free bread we’ve found! They also have amazing vegan options (bread, cookies, brownies, etc) that are gluten free as well. The vegan donuts are so delicious! You can order sandwiches, salads, and fresh juice to go. Also, I like that if you call ahead, they make fresh bread to order. Very nice place with sweet staff.

I go to Eva Ruth once a week. I have tried almost everything over the past few years. Everything is incredibly delicious. My favorites are her moist pumpkin bread or muffins and her feta cheese scone. It sounds rather strange but it is to die for. Her cakes are better than any regular bakery. Her French bread literally brought me back me to a wonderful breakfast I once had in Paris. The texture and moisture level are so perfect which is very unusual for Gluten free products. I highly recommend this place to everyone and especially people who are gluten free.

Absolutely the best bakery on the island, gluten free or otherwise! Outstanding selection, unbelievable quality and flavor that is amazing! You have to try the pumpkin muffins. Lunch sandwiches are great as well! You gotta try this place, you’ll be hooked!

First off, almost $ 50 for a 6 inch cake is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Well, how does it taste, how was the texture? You wouldn’t believe me. Did it taste bad? No, but it didn’t taste good either. To be quite honest, the desserts that come as batter that cooks into a brownie inside of microwave tv dinners, have better texture, and taste than the fares from this bakery.
I’d give one star, but… where else would one find vegan, gluten free brownies? I mean sure… they’re awful, make my tongue burn, and cost $ 12.50 for a tiny 4“x8″ tray but… no there aren’t really any justifications, other than the fact that I’m not dead, or injured from the food… I’m just being kind.

I love Eva Ruth’s and stop in as often as I can! They offer delicious gluten-​free products and their sandwiches– you would never know they were wheat-​free because they taste amazing! I love their muffins, cupcakes, and carrot juice as well! They also worked with my mom who ordered an Easter cake through email and having me pick it up. They are great there!

I love the whole-​grain gluten-​free bread! Really nice texture, soft like «real» bread without falling apart when I try to spread my favorite, very dense, natural peanut butter on it (ok, it didn’t hold up quite as well by the 3rd day on the counter, but that’s to be expected, and it still tasted great).
After noticing that some of their products were also labeled as dairy-​free, I decided to ask whether we could find something for a friend who has to avoid gluten, dairy and corn. Two or three people joined forces to help me figure out which items would be safe for her, and there turned out to be several! I bought her the cinnamon roll, which she described as «sex in my mouth.»

I was over the moon when I found out this place existed! They are the only place that I have found in the area that makes made-​to-​order FRESH RAW JUICES! Every possible veggie/​herb and fruit you can dream up, they can craft into a tasty beverage! So healthy and delicious! I just want them to succeed so that they will always be around! EvaRuth’s has the best vegan and gluten-​free products on the Island! Homemade bread, brownies, cupcakes, biscotti, muffins, scones, etc all gluten-​free and delicious. Recommend checking it out if in the area! Worth it!
