Stopped in for lunch with my mother in law. Chowder with fresh dil perfect on cold day. My mother in law had French onion soup she drained the bowl. Waiteress was pleasant and prompt prices good would recommend. Thanks to Cindy for a great lunch.

Excellent food, outstanding bartender! Ate there two nights in a row; first night had the blue cheese burger with fries, second night had the french onion soup and the blackened salmon. Everything was delicious, I will be back!

Came here after the Newport Mansion cliff walk due to good Unilocal reviews. I hate it when I have my hopes up and am so disappointed. Yuck. Gross lobster roll + clams casino. REALLY slow service. Bland clam chowder. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.

I got the Unilocal deal and stopped here for dinner after the gym. My boyfriend and I both got the east-​west burger, it was really really good. Place was pretty empty but I enjoyed my meal and the deal I got on Unilocal.Thanks!
The entrees looked a bit pricey — wasnt expecting those prices at this establishment but I will update my review once I try them!

Chowder was great, as was fried sea bass. Atmosphere was so-​so. Friendly waitress.

Lobster roll was ice cold and over cooked, wife’s chicken sandwich was chewy, and sons chicken tenders were over cooked and bagged tenders. Server was nice, wasn’t expecting a masterpiece due to the fact it’s more of a bar with food. But seems like they need to less the menu and focus on a small number of items.

Excellent lobster rolls and chowder! We were served by the owner himself– a very nice guy born and raised in Newport. A locals place, not fancy but good food, good beer and great views.

Food is great! Chicken broccoli ziti Alfredo and shrimp scampi we tried were both delicious. Bathroom skeeved me out a bit and was kind of dirty/​smelly.

Amazing most underground delicious place I’ve been in Newport! Bloodies are clutch, food is better just ask and talk to the staff they all seem to know… total go too, my new favorite local spot!

We were out-​of-​towners on a mini road trip with our french bulldog and needed a place to eat on our way home. We found Easton’s on Unilocal and saw that it had great reviews as well as a dog friendly place to eat. It was Labor Day, so the place was pretty empty, which meant we had our own view of the water on the outdoor deck.
The owner immediately pulled out ice water for our frenchie as well as some dog treats. Super friendly and very accommodating.
We ordered the clam chowda (the best we had in New England and I think it’s the added dill), lobster roll (super fresh and not too mayo-​y — just how we like it), and the mussels — white wine sauce was on point!
Bloody (spicy) Marys also hit the spot. The place is very chill and we’re very glad to have given this place a chance. It also seems like a great place for drinks with your friends at a low key dive bar but with the hospitality of a super charming B&B. I would definitely recommend the place!

Every time I come back, the food just keeps getting better!!! Highly recommend the lobster roll, fish tacos, and mussels!

We had a great meal here with wonderful service. Our oldest has many food allergies and they helped us ever step of the way. Wait staff was great and our food was delicious. Recommend highly!

Small dive bar type place, very cool, food is amazing! The lobster roll and the beef short ribs are out of this world!
The hostess was super nice and we met the chef and she was very nice and talked to us about how she made the food…

Waitress steals tip money from credit card. Got charged 69 $ on credit card… credit csrd calls me telling me waiter charged 85 $ to my card without my consent

Easton’s has the best food in Newport. We have lived here two years and have not found anywhere with a lobster roll and good daily specials like they do. The service is outstanding. They are all very warm and attentive. It is very reasonably priced. With a bar casual feeling and a fine dining menu.

After my first visit I’ve been here a number of times… Each time I’ve had great food and good service. This is why you give people a second chance, especially when they have good fresh food. Everybody’s been friendly and have provided good service. Nick remembers me, he even remembered me after he only met me once.
So maybe this will become my local bar after all…

Came here with friends for dri ks and food. Was not disappointed. Lobster rolls are definitely a must! Owner is very sociable and makes you feel welcome. A Must try if you are in the are.

Jillian at the bar was great. We were in town for the weekend and heard about this spot — food was great, drinks were great, and Jillian kept us laughing all night! Can’t wait to come back soon!

We were on the hunt for a place that had food and Keno. You would be surprised at how few there are. The list drops considerably when my mother is involved as she is extremely picky. Upon walking in we were warmly greeted, and seated. The atmosphere is… well…dive bar. When you walk in don’t expect fancy. But I feel most comfortable in dive bars so I was good. It was a rainy miserable day when we were there, and I seriously can’t wait to go back on a nice day when the deck is open. I can see myself having a beer, and looking out at the water. I love days like that. The bartender was great. Friendly and funny, there was never a lack in service. In fact, instead of making me go up to the bar, he took my keno slips up himself. My mother’s food was excellent, and mine was above average. The only reason mine was above average is because the black bean burger I got was huge, and literally fell apart as soon as I picked it up. It was too big for it’s own good. I had to eat the whole thing with a fork and knife, which is frankly, annoying. But I will definitely be back for more food in the future.
