Buddha Thai Restaurant

I had dinner here tonight with a couple of friends and it was great. Best sticky rice I’ve had in a long time. The wait staff was great and very kind. For desert we had ice cream, mango with a fried banana. It was incredible. I definitely suggest this place!

Great food and exceptional service. Everything we have ever ordered was delicious. I am especially fond of their seafood Tom yum soup!

4.5 stars for food in the area rounded up for the great service!
Stopped by here on a drive up to Portland and there was no wait. The people that work here are very warm and friendly. The lunch specials they have are a good deal for just $ 10.
I got the pad see ew with beef (comes with soup or salad) and my boyfriend got the yellow curry with chicken (comes with rice and soup or salad). They were the perfect serving size. I really loved the noodles. It was very flavorful and the noodles were thick and soft. The yellow curry was also good but I preferred the pad see ew more.

Great food, fresh. First time here and the servers were super nice.
I ordered the papaya salad, beef salad and of course the shrimp pad Thai. Would definitely go again so yummy!

We’re from out of town trying to hunt for place to have dinner after working an event. In writing this review, I wondered what do I write first — how welcoming they were or how delicious the food was?
Let’s go with the owner and her staff. They were so welcoming to a bunch of 10 hungry strangers. You couldn’t ask for better service. We even hugged good by in the end. She was just so special!
Now the food since this is a review on the restaurant — the starters we incredible and stopped that hangry creep — we had the Thai crêpe, spring rolls, chicken satay and thai rolls. My word all hands down amazing especially with the peanut sauce.
The dishes — pumpkin curry was incredible, (how I spell the other items I’m trying) coconut soup (tom mun) very comforting, classic yellow curry you can count on, the green bean dish with beef was so tasty, and the pad thai was a classic treasure.
If you want thai — this is THE spot. Enjoy!

Went here for lunch while in town and I LOVED the spring rolls and Thai iced tea. Great service and fresh delicious food!

I really like this place, the hot chili’s they have are fresh. I like the freshness of the food and the prices are reasonable. They can accommodate you if you like spicy food too, and since I like hot hot hot, they provide extra chili’s! The town of Middletown is awesome and this is the place for thai food. Nice people work there too, and its usually easy to park there.

Always a treat. I’ve tried about ½ of the 59 items on the menu. If you haven’t tried Buddha Thai you need too. YUM

We’ve been here 3 times now when passing through Middleton and its definitely my favorite place in town of the several we’ve tried. Their roti appetizer is both tasty and unusual to see at a Thai restaurant. They were really busy tonight, but as usual provided good and friendly service. The food didn’t take too long to come out either. I enjoyed my tofu pad kee mao. The tofu is fried to crispy goodness.

The worst thrown together food I have ever seen and tasted. The food came out fast and that worried me. I was too hungry to make a fuss but I wish I did. I want my money back! What a waste of ingredients that could have been flavored better and presented a little less like slop left overs you would fed chickens or pigs. So disappointed. Don’t bother. A waste of money.

Stopped here with a few girlfriends after a wonderful weekend retreat filled with yoga and love. This hit the spot, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. If you are in the area it is a must!

This is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Veggies weren’t cooked enough and the fish was over cooked. Apparently gluten free is the biggest challenge of all for the kitchen to accommodate as it limited options immensely and what resulted could not have been more boring and flavorless. Basically this is what you get in a small town with no options and no competition. I’m always willing to wait for good food and pay whatever it takes. This was the fast food of Thai restaurants. Wish I waited till I got home to eat.

Absolutely amazing food! I’ve never been disappointed. Everything is super fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out!

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. I feel so fortunate its in Middletown. If you are in the mood for Asian food skip the Chinese place and eat at this Thai restaurant. The food is fresh clean and amazing! The staff is really friendly too.

Really nice to find great Thai food in such a small town. The cooks are thai.
Also they say they dont deliver but i got a *nudge nudge wink wink* that they would consider delivery if we gave a big tip ;D

Stopped here for some food on the way to Harbin and was blown away. Excellent, fresh, inexpensive Thai food pretty much in the middle of nowhere!
We had the eggplant, which was meltingly delicious. I know we had at least one other item; I cannot remember what it was, but I know it was good!
The food was ready fairly quickly and the staff was very friendly.

Best Thai food I have ever had. VERY VERY Fresh food, local veggies served and the environment is so amazing. I feel so comfortable inside and the place was really clean and smelled so delicious.
I love the orange chicken, I always order 2 orders! The pineapple fried rice is BOMB too, with added broccoli. I eat it for 2 – 3 meals, it is BIG!
The service is excellent, they make you feel like you are part of their family. The owners are so sweet and will accommodate any thing you want or need.
This place is a MUST try!

Fabulous green Thai curry with tofu! The pad Thai is also top notch. I cannot leave town without first stopping by for a refreshing thai iced tea.
What really differentiates this restaurant, in addition to the fresh fresh fresh ingredients is the beautiful artwork and warm welcoming environment. The kitchen staff was dancing to a favorite song while making the food last time I was in; that joy and positive attitude can be tasted in the delicious cuisine.

We had:
Tom Kha Gai (Yum!)
Duck Curry (delicious, but my friend ate most of it while I wasn’t looking!)
Pad Kee Mao with pork (really good, made me want it a bit spicier though)
Pad Prik King (Good, spicy, crispy veggies, we had it with chicken)
We had take out, so I can’t say too much about the service, but while we waited they offered us drinks and smiles.
