I’ve never taken lessons here but I do go here for all my string and small upkeep musical instrument purchases. I buy my bass/​guitar strings here most recently. In the past I bought a bass guitar and a bass combo here.
STAFF: for me they have always been down to earth and helpful. Some of you might know how instrument sales people can sort of look down on you like your an idiot when looking to buy or get more info on instrument choices. Well not here, they are cool and informative.
PRICE: very fairlly priced. It’s been many years since I have bought any big ticket items here but for strings and things of that sort, the prices are quite fair.
SELECTION: it’s not a huge place but for small things like strings, tuners, picks, drum sticks etc… They have a good variety. For instruments you will have a decent pick but might want to look online as well.
Overall, great local music shop WAY better than Monmouth music.
