Le Nails Salon & Spa

This is a very dishonest establishment. I went in specifically requesting a full set of gel nails, which the owner Anna assured me they offered, and charges $ 10 more than acrylics. When the time came to apply the «gel», I saw that it was actually powder. I immediately questioned the lady doing my nails about it because I read that there is no such thing as a «gel powder» and that all gels come in tubs already prepared as gels. The lady as well as Anna were very insistent that this was a «special» gel powder that was of «better quality». What a bunch of lies! I should have walked out then and there but the lady had already used a drill to remove the existing polish on my nails. I later checked the information that I was told at Le Nails with other reputable nail techs, including the instructors at Elite Nail School in Madison, and was confirmed that my suspicions were right that Le Nails lied to me outright. I then went to have my «gel nails» removed by a local reputable salon and was told that the set removed like acrylics and not like actual gels. This is very disappointing that not only was I lied to, I was charged $ 10 extra by them telling me I got gels when I really got acrylics instead. I would not recommend this establishment at all. Stay far far away! They may be «skilled» at what they do, but they are very dishonest and I’m sure they probably use inferior products and take short cuts whenever possible to save a buck. If you are comfortable with that then so be it. You’ve warned!!!

I’ve been going to this nail salon since the 2^nd week it opened. I absolutely LOVE Anna and the nails she creates for me! She’s been honest and flexible and I would never consider going elsewhere!
