History
Established in 1986.
Starting in my first studio in East Bridgewater Ma I have been creating art of all kinds with a focus on ceramics for sale through my studio and web site. Meet the Business Owner
Ron Mello M.
Business Owner
Originally Influenced by Japanese and Native American ceramics, Ron Mello brings together clay, found objects and other materials for a personal aesthetic statement. I received my BFA at the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, Massachusetts in Art Education and Painting. My Masters Degree and C.A.G.S degree’s are from Bridgewater State University. I became involved in ceramics at Bridgewater in 1986. I have been working steadily in this medium since that time. I create both functional porcelain and stoneware vessels as well as decorative and primitively fired work including Raku work. a Raku is a combination of the skill the potter possesses and the random effects of the fire; it is the ultimate test of the clay and the artist. I also create unique handmade artist brushes using a variety of materials.
