Shelly’s Dog Walking Service

Michelle is unreliable, dishonest and doesn’t care about or love dogs at all.
After learning that she didn’t walk our dog, who was left for 12 hours alone in our apartment as she didn’t inform us, I quickly replaced her. I don’t know how many times she didn’t walk my dog without me knowing. a dog lover wouldn’t knowingly leave a dog locked in without even informing the owner. Not to mention getting payment for a service she didn’t perform.
She didn’t even come up with an excuse other then ‘I didn’t get to your dog’ — WTH! I’ll be happy to share the email if anyone’s interested.
If you care about your dog, find a reliable walker. The women can’t be trusted!

Our dog Dexter loves Shelly. He’s been walked by her for quite a long time now (he’s the b/​w Shih Tsu in some of the pictures). Being a Shih Tsu, he’s dopey and lazy as they get. It seems the only time he’s waking up is when Shelly gets him for his walk. After that, he’s exhausted, and I can only assume that before that, he’s saving up his energy for playtime.
I can understand why as she takes him to awesome places. Quite often, the beach. So Dexter loves her more than anyone else.
Shelly has solid training, so I never have to worry about her being irresponsible, and she knows what to do in case of disasters. She also make sure the pack goes well together, so I can be confident that Dexter’s hanging out with only nice dogs.
Finally, since Dexter doesn’t seem to care how he looks or smells, Shelly does it for him. She towels him off after the walk so that he’s not carrying too much sand and random dirt into our place.
Oh. And, before I forget, Shelly regularly posts pictures and even videos to facebook, so I can watch Dexter having tons of fun when I get too bored at work. Which is not quite as good as having him here, but I know that Dexter prefers his walks.

From the moment my puppy met Shelly, she was in love! I had used another dog walker in the city but after meeting Shelly, I knew that she was a better fit all around. Here are just a few reasons I would recommend Shelly’s Dog Walking Service:
1. She’s been trained to work with dogs. I’ve noticed a strong improvement in the way that my dog acts and socializes with other dogs. She actually listens to me now too which I fully credit to Shelly.
2. When I was getting ready to have our baby, I asked Shelly to be available to pick up my dog for an overnighter when I went into labor. Not only did she clear her calendar but SHE followed up with ME! The girl is organized!
3. Shelly goes for loooong walks with the dogs. When I mean long walks, they are out there for a good couple of hours! Oh, and my dog isn’t ever really dirty or smelly when she comes home. (Bonus!)
4. Shelly posts pictures of the dogs out gallivanting AT LEAST once a week to Facebook. It’s fun to see. Did I happen to mention that Shelly also made a VIDEO of my dog playing with another dog? AND it was set to music! I mean, how cool is that?
5. It’s clear that Shelly understands puppies (mine) as well as older dogs and spends a lot of time up front talking with you and spending time with your dog to ensure that the new dog would be a good fit with the others. She’s super cautious with this and only takes a few dogs out at a time. It’s almost one-​on-​one attention!
6. My dog comes home exhausted and, since she’s been out with Shelly, she sleeps through the night. (Bonus again!)
I’m totally impressed and trust her with my fur child. ‘Nuff said!
