Just took my road test and passed on the first try. Getting everything set up with the lady at the office (Jennifer) was extremely easy and she is kind and understanding. They pick you up and drop you off for your driving lessons as well!
My instructor, joe, was professional and prompt. He will definitely prepare you for the road test! Not sure if I could’ve passed on the first try without them!

My experience with Avalon has been great. I first did my 5 hour class with them, as well as a bunch of lessons and, unfortunately, two road tests.
Although I did fail the first time, I attribute it to the fact that I was rushing to try to get it done before I was ready. I think my instructor, Joe, prepared me as much as possible with the limited amount of time I had. Still, I was able to pass my second time around no problem.
Joe was a great instructor – prompt, patient, and really knowledgable. The owner, Jennifer, was also very accommodating and professional. I would definitely recommend Joe/​Avalon for all your driving school needs.

Avalon was really helpful in getting me comfortable on the road, and feeling confident in my ability to be a safe driver. Joe was my instructor, and he is so professional and punctual. I think compared to other driving schools, Avalon is very reasonably priced. I passed my road test on my first try in Middle Village and I could not be happier!

Avalon Auto School is truly a professional and experienced driving school that greatly prepares you for the road test. My driving instructor, Joe was very thorough, patient, and helpful. Jennifer, who works at the front desk and is also a driving instructor, gave me an insightful lecture for the certifying driving lecture course (in which she made time for just me on an off-​class day). I owe my road test success to the whole faculty at Avalon, and I strongly suggest for you to enroll here. Thanks again!

Cannot say enough good things about Avalon. I just got my license about a month ago after not having driven in over 16 years. My instructor, Joe, tells you like it is and really prepares you for the road test. The packages are really well priced and Jennifer, the business owner, is super responsive.
