Hobby Lobby

This is an average arts & crafts store. It is very large, however their selections are still quite limited in many sections such as paper crafts. The staff seemed overwhelmed on the floor and when asked for assistance would give vague directions to the location where you might find what you are looking for. I simply went in for glitter gel pens and erasable ink pens. They didn’t carry erasable ink pens or any regular ink pens that we could find. The gel pens were very limited to one selection and a couple of glitter markers in different locations in the store. I finally got an employee to walk me to where they might be after asking two other employees and my mother asked one as well. It was frustrating to be directed all over the store. It seems they try to pack a lot of different types of crafts into their stock instead of options within common crafts. I glanced at material, yarn and the clearance section as well. I will try a Staples for my ink pen needs and JoAnn’s for my material & yarn.

I love Hobby Lobby & this particular location is a good one. It is well stocked with so much to choose from. Everything you need including arts & crafts, interior/​exterior décor, holiday, birthday, wedding, etc. staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are wide ranging. Some are cheap while others seem high. Watch for sales-​they have a lot of them-​so you can get the very best deal.
