We specialize in General Dentistry. That is to say that we perform nearly all dental procedures within our scope and know when to refer out difficult cases requiring specialized care. While the majority of our work is maintaining our patients healthy mouths, we also are great at problem solving difficult cases.

History

Established in 1972.

Our office was opened in 1972 by my father James A Zurfluh. When I graduated from dental school in 1993, I began working for my father until taking over the practice in 1998. Our office takes great care to stay current on the latest developments in dentistry like digital radiographs and modern dental materials like the Lava all ceramic crown. We also have remained a small seven chair office with a family like atmosphere.

We continue to take great pride in offering good quality dental care while maintaining very affordable prices. We are quite sure you will enjoy your vistit here and hope to see you soon.

Dr. Zurfluh was born and raised in Miami, went to St Theresa Elementary (class of ’81) and Christopher Columbus High School (class of ’85). He went to college at Loyola University and St. Leo University (class of ’89) and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, School of Dental Medicine with the class of ’93. He went straight into private practice with his father Dr. James A. Zurfluh at his two locations in Miami and Davie.

Dr. Zurfluh keeps a very busy schedule as owner and practicing dentist at both locations. In addition to his private practice Dr. Zurfluh is an Associate Courtesy Faculty member at the University of Florida Dental School, Hialeah Clinic and volunteers at Community Smiles to provide dentistry to the underserved population. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education.

Dr. Zurfluh is married and has four beautiful children. He also enjoys offshore fishing and relaxing with his family.
