Wynwood Brewing Company

This brewery is amazing. It was raining, so we were lucky to have stumbled upon this place. We played Scrabble, connect four, backgammon, and cards. The staff was very pleasant, and very friendly. The beers were great. We each did the flight so we could try more than just one. Their Stout is amazing!

I’ve been to this brewery a few times now n it’s awesome. Love their house IPA. The staff is also very friendly and knows a lot about beer. They have a nice selection of games and a very chill vibe. The art on the walls is amazing.
The house of Mac truck is also in the parking lot next door which is a plus. You can order at the truck and eat the food inside.

Decided to spend a hazy and humid Sunday checking out the Breweries in Wynwood. At Wynwood Brewing Company we ordered two flights of beers and we decided against going on the tour.
Quality
We got to try eight different beers which included La Rubia, Flagler Saison, Wynwood IPA, Guava The Hutt, 627 Ale, Rickenbacker Pils, Magic City Pale Ale, and Guanabator. I will save the trouble of talking about each of the beers individually and instead just let you know my favorites. I think the La Rubia, the Wynwood IPA, and the Magic City Pale Ale were my favorites. I prefer the more hoppy beers, so IPAs are my normal picks. I think La Rubia is a solid middle of the road beer. Also, even though I am not big on the more sour beers I did think the Guava The Hutt was an interesting and fun pick.
Quantity
The sampling sizes for the beer are small, but it is more than enough to help you decide whether it is something you would want a full beer in the future.
Value
Each flight cost $ 8, which was not bad for the opportunity to try a bunch of beers. They also had tours that cost $ 10, but you do get a pint of beer and a glass, so it is not really a bad deal.
Ambiance
Wynwood Brewing Company is located towards the western edge of Wynwood close to I-​95. The entrance is pretty nondescript and when you enter expect dim lights. The inside of the tap room was extremely dark. At the far end is the bar with a window into the brewery itself. Above the bar was a good sized screen that was showing the soccer game. The room was pretty long with a large family style family in the middle and small tables and chairs along both adjoining walls. At the entrance was a large pile of different board and card games to keep you entertained as you enjoy your beers. The music was a good mix of classic rock with an tendency to hang towards the more light and pop songs. The only real issue is that there was no outdoor area, but as one of the earlier breweries in the area it is understandable that they may not have expected to be part of the booming industry.
Crowd
Despite being early on a Sunday afternoon the tap room was extremely busy. It was lots of small groups and most of them seemed to be trying flights of beer. At the bar were a few people who had clearly been by before, a few with the larger growlers taking advantage of the cheaper prices. There were a few people with some personal space issues, but other than that it was a good atmosphere.
Service
With how busy the tap room was it seemed extremely understaffed. Only one person behind the bar seemed like it was where he belonged and I appreciated his attempts to describe the different beer flavors. I also was not
Parking
Wynwood Brewing is a bit isolated in the western part of Wynwood, so close street parking is pretty easy to come by.
Extra
Wynwood Brewing Company has an excellent selection of beer as well as a good mix of games and activities to do while you enjoy them. They also have a good sized screen to watch the biggest sporting event going on. The only thing going against them is the lack of an outdoor space, but since it was an ugly day it did not get in the way this Sunday.

Love this place. If you haven’t been, stop by on a Saturday or Sunday and take the tour. It’s pretty cool to experience the beer making process & sample some experimental brews.
To my surprise they now offer beer from other local breweries on tap so you have the best of all worlds. Can’t go wrong with cold craft beer & a few board games in this cozy atmosphere to spend your afternoon.

If you didn’t know this place was here, you could completely pass it by — but it is absolutely worth stopping in! We were visiting Miami from a town with a big beer brewing presence, and so we were so excited to try local beers. Wynwood Brewing’s beers were excellent.
If you’re new to this brewery, you should look into a flight. When we were there, you got to select four of any of the Wynwood Brewing beers. The Flagler saison was my favorite — it was a great summer beer.
The space itself was comfortable, but small. I bet this place gets packed at peak times. They had games stacked up in one corner for you to play with as you drank.
I also noticed they sell some pre-​prepared snacks, but didn’t really look into it too much.

My friends and I thought it would be an excellent idea to conduct our our pub crawl. Or in this case, Wynwood brewery crawl. Our first stop on the crawl was Wynwood Brewing. Wynwood Brewing was pretty small, but most of the breweries in Wynwood are. Someone had recommended that I try the Barrel of Monks beer they office. I was disappointed to be told that they weren’t serving it at the moment. Instead of the Barrel of Monks, I went for La Rubia. I don’t like dark beers, so I figured I would like it the most. I really enjoyed La Rubia and liked my experience in general. I wish they would of had the Barrel of Monks, and maybe an outdoor section? It was very dark inside. Overall, I liked it and would visit again.

TWO WORDS: Growler Hour. Growler fills are 50% off from 12:00 pm — 1:00 pm. That means you can get a lot of good beer at a crazy cheap price (think $ 6 for 64 oz).
Oh, you want more? Well, Wynwood Brewing is coming up on three years but it feels like they’ve been around forever. They were the first on the Miami craft beer scene and at the forefront of the Wynwood neighborhood evolution.
The taproom isn’t huge but you can usually find a table to hang out at if they’re not having a special event. My favorite core beers are La Rubia and Magic City Pale Ale. I’m not a porter fan or else I’m sure I’d love their famous Pop’s Porter. What’s fun about coming to the taproom is trying their rotating offerings so I’d definitely go for one of those first. The core beers you can find at restaurants all around Miami.
They offer brewery tours if you’re interested in the back of house operation. They also host a bunch of events and festivals throughout the week, so it’s best to follow on Facebook to check those out.
I don’t see this place going anywhere for awhile and definitely not mad ’bout it. If you’re looking to hit up only a couple breweries in the 305, be sure to make this one of them!

I came here with a few friends while visiting Miami last week. I’m not much of a beer drinker but the ambiance was awesome. Wynwood is such a cool neighborhood too. Service was friendly even though I just had water :)

Recently visited Wynwood Brewing Company with a buddy for drinks on a Saturday afternoon. If you’re not paying attention you’ll drive/​walk right by the entrance.
Parking in the area is street /​metered parking. Historically not the safest of places in Miami, but the recent development in the Mid-​Town /​Wynwood district of Miami has really revitalized the area. Felt very safe walking the streets from parking to the front door.
Inside Wynwood Brewing Company is a fairly intimate setting. It’s great for conversations with friends… and strangers too! They have old-​school board games as well so everyone is engaged in actual interactions and conversations instead of on their phones. No tv’s either.
They have a great selection of beers to accommodate most everyone’s taste buds. I didn’t see empty glasses on tables as customers left either. The staff was pretty attentive and kept the place cleaned up.
I was impressed on this, my first, visit. First of many more.

We absolutely loved Wynwood Brewing! My sister lives in Miami and while my husband was in town for the day before a Cruise she took us to the neighborhood to see all the artwork and to visit this brewery. We LOVED all the selection of beers (it was really cool also to see that the NCL Escape — our cruise ship also had a Wynwood brew on tap!) — and I had their kombucha which I really loved! Who knew that kombucha if fresh brewed and from a tap is delicious! I have yet to find one in a bottle that tastes halfway decent lol.
We loved the vibe of the place — we played a few games at a large communal table and it was just a great atmosphere. Everyone — guests and servers alike were very nice and friendly. They also take Discover Card so we love that :) Prices were very reasonable as well! We’d be back next time we visit!

Uno! Jenga! Bullshit!
Walk right in grab a seat and chill. Plenty of board space, literally. Both board games and beer on the board to go around for everyone. Aren’t too familiar with the local beers? Not quite the connoisseur just yet? No worries, take a flight. Locally that is. Beers are all awesome, even the heavy smelly beast with a whopping 10%+ alcohol content. Want to nibble on a something? There’s a Peruvian food truck right outside that has excellent ceviche made to my spice liking. If in the area why not?

I finally made it out to Wynwood before an event. After years of trying their brews at restaurants — and most recently in the new bottles they released, it was nice to get into the actual brewery. As you will read, the place is on the smaller side.
They have all of their beers on a large chalk board. Unfortunatly they had just ran out of a special brew — but I went with a porter (not Pops) that they had on tap. The name escapes me, but it was good.
The area is a little sketchy, but we walked over from the main strip with no problems. I feel in the next year this area will get more and more developed. Of course there’s some great street art to check out while here as well.

This is our favorite spot in Wynwood! The beers are great and you can’t beat the atmosphere. It’s laid back, and it’s a true «family feel». The owners take the time to get to know customers.
On the weekends they do brewery tours and for $ 10 you get a tour, a beer of your choice and a branded beer glass– it’s a great activity when we have out of town visitors!
My fiancé joined their «Vine Club» this year because this is his favorite spot in Wynwood.
Great people, great beers and in a great neighborhood!

I have to say, I don’t drink beer. Not because I’m a girly girl. Not because I outright reject beer, but because I find it so over filling and carbonated I get super full before I ever feel even slightly buzzed.
We came to this gem over the weekend, it’s super laid back, got no windows really and has a bunch of wooden park benches, and you go and order in the back. They do flights for their own in house beers, but do have other beers featured.
I tried the El barrio with the good old 9.8 ABV. We all played Cards against humanity and after two, I have to say I was pretty darn tipsy. Also, it was really a great tasting beer, not too heavy, or hoppy which is my usual complaint of these type of beers.
All and all a decent experience, since I prefer champagne, wine, cocktails, would not be my first choice but would bring a guest who loved a laid back atmosphere and beer. Cheers :)

I’ve been here a couple of times, and really like this place. This whole Wynwood neighborhood is pretty cool. I would encourage first-​timers to purchase a flight as there are many types of beers to choose from.
My preference is wheat beers, followed by IPA’s. In all regards, the bartenders are very helpful in explaining your options if you’re not certain what beers you like.
The options are listed on the wall next to the bar. Like most places, they include alcohol percentages. I typically stay away from 6 percent and above options. Those have proven to kick me in the pants in the past.
This place is smaller and is a little off of the beaten path, but I would encourage you to give it a try.

Wynwood Brewing is a little hole-​in-​the-​wall brewery in South Florida. They have metered parking, board games, and food trucks. The walls are adorned with artwork mostly portraying popular film characters. They have a large selection of different beer varietals. And the biggest thing that troubled me is that it’s bar service only. I can’t imagine how crazy this place can get. The prices are okay, a little higher probably because you’re in Miami ($ 8 for a beer flight of 4).
We ordered some flights at the bar and took it to our seats. I ordered La Mami Imperial Blonde, Father Francisco Belgian Gold Strong, My Daughters Robust Porter & Wynwood IPA. My Daughters Porter was hands down the best but not really anything that would bring me back. La Mami was okay but not something I’d order again. The other brews weren’t something I’d ever order again, and there weren’t any other beers on their list that I would want to try either. I can’t say much about the service other than they took our order.
I don’t like to base my reviews purely based on the taste of the beers because someone else may find those flavors to be phenomenal, but I can’t really find anything that would bring me back. The metered parking is a draw back, the price is a bit high, and the service is offered at the bar only. I didn’t really care for the atmosphere either. It feels like your sitting in someones closed garage. I guess I prefer to hang out in places that have at least a few windows and some natural light, or maybe if it was a larger room with more comfortable seats. But if those things are okay with you, then you may find a beer you enjoy here.

I can’t believe yesterday was my first time ever at WBC! I’ve been coming to Wynwood/​art walk/​bar hopped everywhere in this area for the past 6 years or so and just never made it here for some reason. I have tried their La Rubia beer on tap many times at local spots and loved it. This brewery is in a hidden area in Wynwood, so I can see why it would be hard to find for others. This could be a plus though.
As for my first visit. I have no complaints! The bartenders were genuinely friendly and welcoming when I sat by the bar. WBC offers brewery tours only on the weekends at 2 pm and another at 6 pm. This includes a collector’s cup, a beer for $ 10. Beer flights of four are $ 8. You can choose any of their own brewed beers to mix and match… or the choose one of the other craft beers on tap.
Food trucks parked outside if you want to pair your brew with some munchies. I definitely think this will be one of my go-​to spots on a chill Saturday/​Sunday afternoon after some brunch.

I came for their 2 year anniversary event. They brought our food trucks and music. It was a nice event, lots of people showed up. They offered drink tickets for 5 dollars for people.
Inside the place is nice they have seating in around the walls and artwork on the walls as well.
Pretty cool place, with a nice ambiance.

After getting a little lost around Wynwood trying to stay dry from the rain we finally found Wynwood Brewing company. My friend really wanted to come here and I can’t turn down a good beer! Once we arrived I felt the laid back dark beer bar feel I get from the Boca Funky Buddha location and I really liked that about WBC. Everyone was really chill and the lights were dim. The music was just loud enough but not so loud you have to scream to talk. Really cool place to grab a beer and hangout.
After going over the beer list we decided to try a dark beer name daughter something. I really need to try and remember the names of the beers better lol! It was really good and really cold which was nice after being outside in the Florida heat! Also worth mentioning how clean the bathrooms were, always much appreciated! Definetly worth a stop if you like craft beers!
