Every Woody’s is special with its own hometown atmosphere and every Woody’s serves up only the best. We use the finest cuts of pork and beef and the freshest vegetables. And everything we serve is a Woody’s original, from our secret-recipe Bar-B-Q sauces and freshly-prepared side dishes right down to our famous, moist and tender, slow-smoked Bar-B-Q dinners.
History
Established in 1980.
Over 30 years ago, Woody Mills and Yolanda Mills-Mawman collaborated with Grace Meyer (Woody’s own mom) to pioneer the original Woody’s Bar-B-Q concept in Jacksonville, Florida. Woody smoked the meat for hours while Yolanda handled sales and customer service. They created recipes from scratch, made sure the quality of their food was above standard, and the service made customers feel like family. Woody and Yolanda have the same mission today.
